    Mike L. came out because of the free tune up offered by my electric company TXU Energy. As a new homeowner, I didn't know what to expect but Mike was very polite and patient with all of the questions that I had.

    After a quick and efficient check up of my AC and heating system, he gave me a full report including all of the unit label information and the diagnosis ratings and readings complete with photographs of each one. He also let me know about the shortcomings of the system, and general estimates of each repair/upgrade.

    I look forward to working with Mike L. again soon and the others at Strand Brothers who I hear are just as knowledgeable and efficient.

    This place used to be top notch, not sure what happened but its a done deal for us. One of our thermostats went out a couple weeks ago so I called for a technician to come out. He said the screen just went out that the unit itself was ok, then proceeded to tell me the new one would be $1075.00 and come with a 10 year warranty. I got excited because the one that went out was barely 5 years old..... Nope! Not a chance, they, conveniently, didn't offer warranties back then. Lol. I ended up buying a new thermostat, that actually has more options form Home Depot for $156.89, and installed it myself. This isn't the only problem, they usually come out twice a year to do the routine check up on both systems, this isn't a free process, and when I called to ask a few questions about why this thermostat didn't have a warranty and why they haven't been out the rude lady told me we haven't called to schedule. We never have called and scheduled anything, they always called us the day before. So I asked to talk to the manager, conveniently, he was out of the office that day. No problem, have him call me when he gets back in. No call 3 days later so I called and got to talk to the rude lady again and asked to speak to the manager, annnnnnnnddddd conveniently, he wasn't available. Never heard from the manager and it's been two weeks now. Needless to say we're going with a new company for all our HVAC needs.

    Had a great experience with John from Strand Brothers today.
    Our unit threw a code and shut down around 4 pm. I called Strand Brothers amd they sent John all the way from Kyle, Texas. He checked the touch screen, the blower, which is under the house and the outside unit. He cleaned the outside unit while he was here and answered all my questions. He made sure that the system was running well before leaving.
    John is friendly, knowledgeable, and goes above and beyond to make sure that whatever he is working on is done right.
    Thanks John! Hope to see ya when the new part comes in for our A/C.

    We love Strand Brothers. We have used them for years and are always impressed by the amazing and professional technicians who work on our home. Elian and Francisco recently did some work on our system and they exceeded all expectations. Elian identified an issue and Francisco was brought in to help get the issue resolved. I was blown away by their clear communication, their sensitivity to my young child, and their attention to detail. They were professional, timely, and incredibly helpful in explaining everything that was happening. They cared for our home as if it were their own, and that means a lot when you have someone doing extensive work that can take multiple days to complete. I will request to work with these two technicians again in the future.

    John Gonzalez was sent over to repair a clogged drain line, but ended up identifying other issues that need to be taken care of to avoid damaging my HVAC system. He was very thorough and knowledgeable, and did a great job of explaining to me what he was taking care of, and what needed to be done. I appreciated his courteousness and honesty, and look forward to him coming back in the future.

    Jessie and Aaron arrived on time and were very professional. They explained what they were going to do and did a thorough job. They were respectful of my property and my concerns. Out of 5 stars, I would give them at least a 5, more if I could. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing service.
