I have had the guys at South Nashville Heating and cooling install 2 new units for me . The guys where great. Very nice clean cut and well spoken. I felt like the guys did not rush the job to get off they took pride in their work. Made sure the system was operating properly in all modes . Went over the new thermostat with my wife and I . I have recommended this company to my parents my in-laws as well as my friends . Great job South Nashville heating and cooling. My upstairs AC Unit stopped cooling in early September. When I mentioned my issue to my brother, he strongly recommended that I contact Phillip or Mark Gray to have them look at my unit. I called South Nashville Heating and Cooling and Phillip contacted me right away. He came out and not only provided a quote, he taught me a lot about how heating and cooling works and gave me options for dealing with my cooling issues. Weeks later, I called to schedule installation. Phillip and team showed up on time removed the old units and completed the new installations according to plan [upstairs furnace, outside AC Unit and 2 thermostats]. The team was very professional and customer service oriented. When they left, my house was clean and orderly - as it was before they started.

First time using South Nashville H&C based on reviews. Good communication and showed up the next day when indicated Friday 2PM. Not a late night or weekend. Tech diagnosed issue as bad capacitor 35/3 and I authorized him to proceed. Charges $250 for capacitor $100 for labor and $59 for travel charges. My wife looked at the bill when she got home and said wow we had the same issue on our other unit and $50 for the part plus $79 for labor = $129. I am giving 2 stars because I did authorize the work but as most AC repairs they occur at the worst time possible and we had a houseful of guests visiting from out of town. I also don’t mind paying more for good service and techs that have the needed parts on there truck but the part is $15.97 from local Home Depot vs $250. Live and learn from my experience.
I was incredibly grateful for Kathy McCormick at the front office of South Nashville Heating and Cooling. Her response time to our needs as a receptionist was quick and thorough. She kept me up to date on every service responding call necessary. Also, service tech, Matt Moore, was extremely thorough in his breakdown of our heating issue. He took the time to accurately depict his thoughts in our written invoice as well. Because of his precise description, I feel comfortable knowing what needs to happen to correct our issue moving forward. Thank you to you both for your detail oriented service and transparent communication!
Our AC was just blowing the fan and not cold air when we came home Monday night. I called south nashville heating and cooling at 7:30 am Tuesday morning and Kathy was able to get a tech out to our house by 10:30 am. He was super nice and helpful and was able to fix the unit with minimal cost. I’ll be using them in the future. Thanks guys!
Our heat went our last weekend and I sent them a text via their website and someone responded within 10 minutes. I asked to be contacted on Monday morning and Kathy reached out at 0745 and set us an appt for between 2-4 that afternoon and they showed up at 1430 and had our unit back up within 90 minutes. The TECH was great and told us our options and did not push us toward a higher priced fix like so many companies have done in the past. I could not be more pleased. They will be my go to HVAC company moving forward.
