Choates representative, Robert, arrived and investigated my indoor leak from my AC/heating unit. Showed me the cause, explained what repair work was required, made the repairs and tested to ensure everything was working as it should. Very professional and courteous. Completely satisfied with workmanship and results. I would highly recommend Choates and Robert.

Service rep, Kevin Smith, did excellent job explaining the problem and checking AC system after repair made. Very friendly. Cleaned unit of oily residue. Was on time.

Bad installation of furnace caused condensation to overflow and cause huge amounts of damages to our house.

Based on online reviews and words of mouth from friends, we chose to go with Choates. We even became part of their family plan.

The problem started from way before. When they changed the furnace, the connection to the thermostat was improper. I never checked when they installed it. So, when they wanted to charge me extra to fix it later, I didn't have any proof so I paid for that service.

Now, we have this water overflow issue, we cannot turn on the AC in this heat because I'm afraid it'll overflow again. I have their technician saying that it was improper installation and not our fault. Still waiting to hear from their manager.

This is just devastating. If giving negative stars was an option, I would have done that.

Jeremiah was very professional . I was excited with the after hour service was provided because I was so cold. Jeremiah was friendly and professional. I feel that he is a valuable employee. He went beyond the call of duty. I received a wonderful experience. And, I was happy paying the after hour cost due to the service that I received. Thank you do much. Choate’s installed a new AC unit replacing my 20yr old one. Technicians were on time, very efficient and knowledgeable. They cleaned up afterward, explained the thermostat, and answered all my questions. I am very happy with their service.

We had a window of 1 to 6 for arrival of the technician. He arrived at 6 pm. I walked out to greet him. He was on his headset on a personal call. As I kept trying to talk to him about where things were and attempting to ask what he needed of us he continued talk on his phone.
I showed him the attic stairs in the garage and told him our unit was in the attic and gave him new filters for the AC. I asked him if he needed anything else and he said no. I told him to knocked on the garage door to the house if he needed anything. He started to follow me in the house. I asked him why and he said he needed to get to our unit. I reminded him that I had told him the unit was in the attic and that I had shown him where the pull down was for the attic stairs out in the garage.

He pulled the stairs down. When he reached to unfold the stairs he screamed and allowed the stairs to slam on to the concrete floor and started yelling that he had a splinter in his hand. He went to his truck to remove the splinter then, finally, went upstairs. At 8 o'clock I went out to ask if he had much longer to work. He said our freon was low. I told him that we haven't had an issue with the air not being cold. I'm no AC expert so I left it at that.

We have been pleased with Choate's in the past but this was not a pleasant experience. We will use Choate's again.

Our technician Alyssa Landa was professional, thorough and knowledgeable. She really cares about the work she does. She is conscientious and does her best to please the customer. She deserves 5 stars.

Choate's was a very easy company to work with. Requested a quote to get our ducts cleaned and received it very quickly. All of the employees that were sent to our house, from the guy that came to do the estimate, to the guys that did the cleaning, were fantastic! Great local company and we will no doubt use them again!

First off, Choates saved our plumbing life!! We had 3 different men come out to the house all very professional and nice! They answered all the questions my husband and I had. They were timely and called before coming! One man even took time out of his day to come help us out again!! We have nothing but great things to say about this company! Thanks guys!!
