Choate's Air Conditioning, Heating And Plumbing

The Choate’s technician was extremely punctual, knowledgeable, and polite! He identified the source of a dangerous gas leak & repaired it. He had to get new fittings to ensure the gas line would no longer leak. I feel very good about the work Choates did & I signed up for their regular service!

Called and received an appointment the same day for AC system replacement. Salesman Quentin Manningham was punctual and very professional. He took the time to explain all aspects of the installation. I received a fair price and scheduled the install for two days later which was best for my schedule.

My AC went out on Sunday. Because I’m part of the Family Plan Choate’s was able to get someone out on Monday to check it and repair any issues. Brandon was the tech who serviced my unit. He was friendly and professional. He was able to assess the problems and fix the warranty issue and another issue that was not under the warranty but was a simple albeit slightly expensive fix. I was happy with his service and grateful for the Family Plan!

They were great! Called them as my AC stopped blowing cold air. They came down same day and able to figure out the issue (blown capacitor) and have it fixed as well ok the same trip.
Would highly recommend and use again .

Our questions and did a great job in explaining things to my mother who was in need of a new system. He was quick in his assessment and also knew prices and the value of his product.

Solid service, was available to come out next day after AC went out. Kevin did great and got the issue fixed quickly and successfully. All great in that dept.
"Trip charge" not applying toward repairs is a lil wonky. And it seems kinda superfluous to have both a "trip charge" and a "diagnosis charge." It feels like part of diagnosing the issue, should be getting someone to your home to diagnose the issue.
Cost of service felt a little high, but not having to sleep in the heat makes it look much better.

Cama’ron was, methodical, fast, and knew what he was doing. Not his fault that it’s a holiday weekend in an insanely busy time of year- but if we had discovered during our appointment time that it was an electrical box issue, we might have been able to get it fixed before everyone takes a holiday tomorrow. No one’s fault that the problem wasn’t discovered before 5:00. And Cama’ron was very very helpful. I doubt we could have gotten anyone here today if we didn’t have Choate’s Family Plan. Good value in hot, busy times.

Alyssa was great! Polite, courteous and knowledgeable.
My only complaint is price of parts used.
I looked up retail cost and those provided by Choates were 300% more.
And that was with discount. Still, it was worth having the job done instead of me doing it.
Again, Alyssa was fantastic! She doesn’t set price.

My tech was wonderful. He did a great job explaining everything that was going on and going into detail about everything that was needed in future. I would love for him to be my main technician going forward. Also sold me on the annual service plan!
