I come to this store for the first time and like usual racism at its best. this guy buying was in the wrong spot and knew he was in the wrong and the cashier took him anyway. I said it's because he's white you took him first. The cashier made an excuse that he's a back up and didn't realize I was next. The guy knew I was next in line. He said he was sorry for me to go ahead but I wanted to record these people to show your workers need here customer service skills.

It's a good store with helpful personnel ! We have shopped there many times. The merchandise is neatly organized and the employees are always helpful with questions and locating items.

2022 Update: Had to give them some more stars for adding Knipex to their lineup. Also, good selection of Milwaukee.

2015 Review: They seem to cater to the towing crowd... lots of trailer hitches and whatnot. About the only things I have bought there were a manual cable puller (come-along) and some greases. If you know what you want, find it online and make sure they match their Web site's price.

There was a male manager that had a nasty attitude. I picked up a milwaukee tool box to take it to the register, and assuming the latches were closed, the bin organizing materials fell out onto the floor. This manager was standing right in front of me and offered no help, instead walked away mumbling clearly negative comments to himself. I picked everything up and went to the register. When I was being rung up for the same tool box, the newer employee asked this manager to help her make sure the only contents inside the tool box were the actual accessories that are included with the tool box. She said, " I am new here and just wanna make sure the tool box has the right stuff inside" and the disrespectful and rude manager comments back to her with an attitude that I had dumped everything onto the floor a few minutes ago clearly trying to make sure I knew how annoyed he was about it. I am a very laid back person but I can only let so much fly by so I asked to anyone listening whether anyone working there understood what good customer service looked like, explained that I had no more patience for the consistent attitude since walking into store that day. He said nothing, clearly didn't care and ignored me totally. I didn't get the impression he was avoiding me because he saw how ridiculous he was acting, but he looked as if he was avoiding any dealings with an upset customer purely out of indifference and laziness. This manager was a white male, in his early to late 30's, around 6 ft tall 190 lbs and has reddish hair and pale skin. If I'm treated that way again at a northern tool, I will spend my money elsewhere from that point on. The new employee ringing me up was very nice and did her best to help calm the situation, she was a white female in her late 40's or early 50's average height and build with curly brown hair. Sorry I didn't get names but I am still highly irritated and was not exactly paying any attention to names

I had GREAT service from Kayla in the parts department today (Woodruff Road, Greenville, SC store). She was very patient and helped troubleshoot the lawnmower parts I needed even though I didn't have a model number. Great employee in Kayla!!

I got a great deal on a Josie Box and they gave me an additional 20 % off as well.
