Just letting you know that I have canceled my order for the BRIZO 64221LF-BL faucet. If your customer service was even slightly good, I might have been able to wait the additional month it will take to receive our item. Unfortunately, your appalling responses to my request for information on the faucet we had purchased, coupled with the delay, made me decide to look elsewhere for my kitchen supply needs.
When I left your showroom on June 24th, I realized that I only had a copy of the credit card receipt. There was no information about the item I had purchased. I was excited to read about the functionality and specifications of the faucet but realized I didn't have the model name or number. I called you later that day to get the information and you said you would email it to me. All you sent was an image of the faucet, no name or model information. I responded, which can be seen in this email chain, by asking again for the information and that I wasn't trying to see if I could find it cheaper somewhere else. We had just bought the faucet, for Heaven's sake! This time, you sent a pdf of the spec sheet but covered up the top portion which had the name and model information. Just in case you don't actually have a copy of this sheet in its entirety, I have attached one for you.
Today, when I called Gateway Supply and found out the faucet won't be shipped until the end of August (the kitchen installation is scheduled for Aug. 1st) I decided to look elsewhere. I was able to find the same one, in stock, at another company and will receive it by July 28. It was $100 more, but worth every cent. I know that losing this small sale won't be a big deal to you, but in sales, like in baseball, you need several "singles" before you can make a "grand slam."
I love the faucets that I got for my bathrooms and kitchen. Just beautiful. I have also had customers and friends of mine that are either in the process of building for themselves or they build houses for a living and I have sent them all to Gateway. They are extremely welcoming and professional. They always greet you with a smile and are eager to assist in any way they can. Amazing customer service and friendly staff
Gateway has the highest quality fixtures. I appreciate that they always have new styles and are willing to do what they can to help me find exactly what I'm looking for. They don't carry the cheapest products but you get what you pay for. The gateway staff is always friendly and knowledgeable and go above and beyond.
Good friendly and timely service with reasonable pricing. I also received helpful service over the phone prior to my visit. I'll probably be back again before finishing up my project.
Two people recommended Gateway when I mentioned that I had a Gerber toilet. I walked in with a part and one lady who was busy with customers politely told me where the parts counter was when it was obvious I didn't know where to go. The people at the counter were very helpful and friendly and took the time to find the exact parts I needed. Another lady saw me walk by on my way out and took the time to tell me to have a nice day. I'll definitely use them again.
What an absolute joke of a company. We worked with over half a dozen suppliers on our remodel and out of those the only one that was a source of issues was Gateway Supply. They single handedly extended the length of the project by over a month. For an example of the sheer incompetence we had to deal with here, we signed an invoice in January which included items that we later found out were not even ORDERED in June. No one thought to check, follow up, really anything at all until our contractor had to go looking for these items.
We were strongly pressured to work with Gateway Supply because lol local company and lol higher quality than Home Depot, and at the end of the day we had to go to Home Depot anyway because no one at Gateway Supply could care any less to do their job. We just wasted a few months and a few thousand dollars along the way.
If you absolutely must work with Gateway, avoid the sales staff and just go straight to a manager. You will save yourself endless headaches and attitude. We are remodeling three bathrooms in our home, back to back, and after this first experience, I'd rather fly first class to China myself and go factory to factory buying each piece I need than to work with these people again.
On May 10th around 11 I walked into gateway. both ladies were on a phone call so I waited patiently for the 1st one who ended their call to greet me and talk to me about my 2 bathrooms I'm getting redone.. When one of them was off of the phone she started pecking on her computer and at no point even acknowledg the fact that I was there not even a "hey, I'll be right with you"... I left without speaking to anyone regarding my 2 bathrooms... they must not need my business... update: Pro Source was happy to help. $$$$ Update to the company response.... you had your opportunity to speak to me when I was there today.. you failed
Seldom in this day and age do you find outstanding service like that offered by Stephanie Boulton-Goitz at Gateway Supply. We needed all the bathroom fixtures as we were doing a complete re-model. Stephanie was more than helpful, their pricing was better than the big box houses or the internet. The service was first class. We purchased Moen accessories to go along with the lavatory and bath sets, the toilet tissue holder had some minor problems with the chrome plating. Took the holder back, Stephanie got right on the phone to Moen's warranty department and a new one is being shipped directly to our house. Tell me where do you find this level of service today?
I have been a customer for 20 years. (Plumber.) The same folks all that time. Friendly, fast, proficient service. Thanks Reggie, Lonnie, Darrell and Bill.
