Call at 8:00 am to set up a service plan and oil deliver plan the had a technician at my my home by noon. AWESOME customer service

I have been a customer since 2001 and have been very happy with the overall customer service. I purchase the renewable protection plan and have called for emergencies which result in prompt service and repairs.

To anyone considering them, they're monthly plan did not fit our budget. We quickly fell behind on payments. Sure we got out of their contract for $150 fee but then they automatically delivered another $1500 worth of heating oil that we had to pay (3 tank fills after cancelling automatic deliveries). Could have been a mistake but we called them 3 times to tell them it's cancelled. We still had to pay it but it put us behind on a lot of other things. What a nightmare. Take it with a grain of salt but we were very disappointed.

Be very careful. I have been an automatic delivery customer of Petro for several years after having been enticed by their generous offers for new home heating oil customers. Lately though I've been charged up to $1.50/gallon higher than the current rates of all local competitors! I feel like this is a strategy to get new customers and then raise their price and hope they don't notice. On a bright note their delivery and service people have always been friendly.

Do not trust these guys! Handled an extremely poor experience for my boss. Communication with manager was poor, he was rude. Family with 2 children went without heat for over 2 weeks due. Please beware this company no matter how professional the phone reps sound, does not care about their customers!

I have been a Petro customer for 17 years. Just went through the big blizzard of 2018. Lost heat Saturday 1/6 evening. Began calling at 8 PM-on phone for over 2 hours before hanging up. I Work nights so I kept calling and waiting. Finally got through around 4 AM Sunday 1/7. Made it clear that I work nights. I was told technician would be at my house between 9 and 12. Started calling Petro at 11 to make sure appointment still stood. Person on phone called service - told me would be after 7. I told her about previous conversation - told me that no one could predict schedule. I explained circumstances- 61 yo, multiple medical problems, leave for work at 8. House in 50's when I left previous night. Per rep-unable to change.

At this time I have huge snowdrifts that I can't shovel so no deliveries for now. BUT-don't understand why out of fuel and why no auto delivery BEFORE blizzard. No answers from person on phone. Best part-this happened LAST blizzard a few years ago. That time I lost a cat.

Poor response in an emergency. False info given out. Lack of response to customer needs. I have emailed manager-we'll see what response is. For now-F rating. Maybe time for a change!

Unlike the reviews they print, this company is awful. Unreliable. Schedule weeks out for service with four hour window. Wait, wait, wait then get a call they will be late or don't come at all. This has happened over and over again. Service people are great. The company and how they manage their business is not.

I, once again, was most pleased with Petro's communication, understanding what I wanted done and completion of this job.

Your plumber, Mike, was very courteous respectful to my house and belongings. He understood what I wanted done and proceeded to work in a most professional fashion.

In fact he even noticed a problem I was unaware of with the toilet and having the "part" needed on his truck replaced that broken piece with the
new after receiving my permission.

Thank You again and I really appreciate your companies service and personnel.

Very unhappy with the results from PETRO Home Services on the job that was done installing new faucet. 1st) the plumber was here for 50 min. and he tried to charge me for 2 hours at $125.00 per hr. 2ND) He installed the new faucet and did not clean the area so there are 2 rust rings that show from the old ones. 3rd) The hot water faucet is loose and there is still a drip.4th) I was told when I called that the Plumbing department manager would be calling me and as of yet, 4 DAYS LATER, not one call from PETRO HOME SERVICES. Better think twice before using these people for plumbing work !!

My tennant called at 2:30 pm to day she had no heat or hot water. I went there and saw water under the furnace. Called petro in tiverton. I scheduled for 8am the next morning, but st 4:15 pm got a call from Paul .S. That he was on his way. Both tennant and I were so grateful. Paul arrived put us st ease, and had it fixed in an hour.
This is the best experience I have had with Petro. Thank you to Paul for seeing is on schedule and giving heat for the night.
