I’ve been a longtime customer of Climatech for both my home and my business, and here is why. I was out of town and had some railroad tie work being done. The contractor nicked the refrigerant line which shut down the AC unit. Not only am I away from home, with our cat Cooper stranded on a weekend with 90 degree heat, but there are showings scheduled for our house which is on the market. Within an hour after I called, Dominic called me and was on his way. It was not a simple job but he knocked it out and called me throughout the process. Even my next door neighbor who helped me let him in raved about him, exclaiming “oh we’re on a first name basis.” I’m in the service business too and know firsthand how challenging it can be to wow customers, which also makes me a tough critic. I was pleased with the professionalism, high-quality equipment, and price I received from ClimaTech. One unresolved problem arose in installation. This minor water leak into my basement may be a masonry issue. (I live in a building that is 125 years old.) I may not be able to fix it until spring, but it doesn't affect the performance of my furnace.

It’s been so hot in Pittsburgh recently and a non-working central air unit was just not going to cut it. I called around and Climatech responded with a reasonable price and could come and fix my unit quickly. To my pleasant surprise, they also said they could help clean out the air ducts which would help with any allergy issues I may have. The amount of pet dander they cleaned out was amazing and I could quickly tell the difference. These guys were very helpful, professional and had my central air working by the end of the day. I would recommend Climatech to anyone with heating and cooling problems.

My family kept waking up every morning with sinus infections, sore throats, and allergy symptoms. I had just changed the filter and it was clean. We called Climatech and they found several problems in the ductwork. (loose connections and improper installation from before we moved in) There were piles of dust and pet hair in the ceiling and walls (and mites -ick!) They cleaned it all out and fixed it. We opted to also have them install a new humidifier/dehumidifier system onto our central air. It has made a huge difference. The bid they gave us was reasonably priced; they got to work quickly and finished within the day. These guys are a very professional, knowledgeable crew. they answered all our questions and gave us plenty of useful advice. We will be using their maintenance service to extend the life of our air system, because it really saves us cost in the long-run. Best HVAC I've worked with in the Pittsburgh area. Easy to work with. They did what they said they would, when they said they would do it. Quality work. And the product is a great- our whole upstairs used to be a sauna in the summer but these units cool everything down quietly and easily.
