The ongoing contacted maintenance of my HVAC systems over many years has been excellent. Informative and efficient as well as prolonging the life of my equipment. Bob Black is the ultimate professional. Most recently I needed to replace my HVAC systems after many years and Sean who lead the project was excellent. Informative, went above and beyond and cleaned up the area better than he found it. Excellent!

I highly recommend working with this company. I had to replace our furnace and AC. Climatech not only had the best rate, they were able to get me on the schedule quickly. Their team showed up promptly at 8am. They were clean and courteous over the course of the 2 day installation. They clearly explained what was happening and what I should expect throughout the process.

I woke up in the middle of the night to the smell of burning plastic, so I turned off the heat and called Climatech to check it out. Miranda and Will came out first thing Monday morning and could not have been better! They were very good at calming down my barking (but friendly) dog and made him feel comfortable with them in our home. They quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it up for us. I highly recommend this company, as they are prompt, professional, and just normal good people! Thank you guys!!!

Rarely is the most knowledgeable and most professional company also the most affordable, but that was exactly my experience with ClimaTech. Of the four companies that bid on replacing my HVAC system, ClimaTech stood head and shoulders above the others in every regard. Everyone from the gentleman who provided the initial evaluation (Paul) to the technicians who provided expert installation were punctual, knowledgeable, and meticulous in every detail (including clean-up). In 23 years as a homeowner, I've had numerous experiences with service professionals - some good, some not so good. ClimaTech has been the first to provide such excellent service and value that I felt obliged to write a review. Well done.

This April our AC condenser developed a leak and would no longer cool. It was 25 years old so time for a replacement. Went through a week of getting quotes and comparing systems, 6 in total. Since the furnace was also 25 years old, I decided to replace the entire system both furnace and AC. The old system was Trane which I liked a lot and it had been durable so I was leaning that way. I met with Climatech and Mike Horner proposed an American Standard system. Mike answered all my questions thoroughly. Through research I found that American Standard is identical to Trane and in fact comes off the same assembly line. I ended up getting a 96% efficient furnace with variable speed blower and 16 seer AC condenser. The crew (Al, Mitch and Kevin) that did the install was great, arrived on time, was neat and professional in their work, described how the job would be done and completed within 1 1/2 days. They cleaned up thoroughly when done. They answered all my questions without pause and made sure I was comfortable with how the equipment was set up. I was concerned how the pvc pipes for the new 96% furnace would be run since the old furnace did not require them and they did a great job in laying out the design and cutting through the side of the house. Since the install we have been running the variable speed blower and it has really helped to even out the temperatures in our split-level house. We've used the AC several times since install and it has worked quite well and the entire system is quieter than our old unit. Bottom line, Climatech's price was better than competitors, equipment is top notch and the installation went smoothly. I can recommend them without hesitation. Do your homework but keep them on your short list. We haven't had to use the furnace yet since it's only May but my expectations for the fall heating season are high.

My 30 year old furnace died just when we had sub zero temperatures coming. I had 3 companies in my home and got 3 bids. Climatech was excellent from start to finish. They understood my need and urgency of a new furnace and the only company that was able to offer me a 96% efficient furnace. The other 2 said it couldn’t be done. From sales to office to installation crew everyone was professional and caring. Everyone was very knowledgeable and the installation was extremely professional, fast and well done. Everything done was well explained and area was tidy after the job was complete. I would recommend Climatech to anyone. Kudos to Mike Horner, Jennifer, Alan and Kevin!

Built a home a Climatech provided and installed my hvac system. I purchased the maintenance contract. Since the start of my maintenance contract, quality and punctuality have been very poor. Recently, Climatec came out to do my spring service. I am pleased to be able to say now that this experience was great. Our technician was Miranda. She did everything that is detailed in our contract (none of the other technicians had done before) ie. Clean the coils and check resisters. She was very mindful about being in our home and greated our animals. This woman/ technician has a big thumbs up from us, and we will be requesting her in the future.

We had the best experience with Climatech Inc! From Mike Horner in sales to the installers everyone was friendly and kind. Even with our crazy puppy. Highly recommend!!

Climatech, formerly Betlyn’s Heating (at least their location in Moon Twp., PA), got the job done quickly and neatly, I have no complaints on that front. Paul Betlyn, the former owner of the company, really is a great guy and it’s because he helped us out last Summer that we called him when our system stopped working this past week in February. The repair was going to be far more than one would want to pay based on the cost of an entirely new system, and since we were at 22 years old with the current one, we decided to move forward with both a new furnace and AC. Paul measured everything, quoted us the full cost, and even gave us a space heater until they could get here just two days later…really was a great experience. My only complaint about the entire process came after everything was installed and the techs had left. Paul’s quote had a line for a “programmable/non-programmable thermostat and ALL CONTROL WIRING” and the way he filled it out was he crossed out what wasn’t being done and left the things that were to be done without lines through them on the paper. He crossed out the need for a thermostat but left the “All Control Wiring” part there. We assumed this meant they would handle new thermostat wiring because when Paul was out the previous summer to fix our situation, we determined that the yellow and white wires were shorting/touching together somewhere along the run and we ended up needing to use our blue/C wire as the new W. Well unfortunately, we didn’t get new wiring. The techs ran a new 8 conductor wire from the furnace and spliced it into the old above the ductwork in our furnace room (to the 4 that had been used at the tstat), which gave me the feeling they were trying to make it look a certain way, but I won’t jump to any conclusions there. When I inquired about this, I was told by another tech that called the next day to address my concerns that it would be an additional charge for him to actually run new wiring. Not only that, he told me he’d be back to do it the following day and now we’re at two days later and I haven’t heard a word. Long story short, I ended up running the new wiring myself because I didn’t want any power stealing happening between my Nest and my new system and wasn’t going to wait any longer. Fast forward 2 weeks and I’ve also come to notice that none of the 4 techs made any effort to properly set the 1st dip switch on the control board to account for timed second stage heating due to lack of a W2 wire. So they sell and install 2-stage furnaces but aren’t necessarily setting that aspect up to work. Mine was set as though I DID have the W2 connected at both ends. Luckily, I’ve also remedied this by attaching my free brown wire on both ends to W2. I may not often need two stage heating but that’s what I paid for and I want to know it’s going to work when necessary! Aside from these minor misunderstandings/shortfalls, I highly recommend Betlyn’s/Climatech and feel Paul Betlyn is one of the last few amazing HVAC guys out there (we’ve been very much ripped off in the past before we found him). If you need a new setup or someone with a wealth of knowledge to troubleshoot, call him first and then every time after that!

Installation was very professional. Left my house clean and looking like they had never been there. Completed job on time. So far, very satisfied.
