We are fortunate and grateful to have been referred to this company. They are honest and not looking to rip people off.

Picture this, it's 97 degrees out. The house is 85, I have two small pets and I work from home. Our AC system broke. So, I called three companies. One ripped us off by over-charging us for work they didn't do. Then tried to sell us a new system. The other two sent techs out, who didn't find the problem and the techs tried to sell us a new system. Then they sent salespeople to the house.

The average cost of a new system from these three crooks was $17,000. We got by really well with two window units.

Then we called Sanks Mechanical. They found the problem in about 20 minutes and fixed it for $350.

24 hours after my initial service I needed service again. Consequently, this time I was advised my motor had a plastic bag caught in it and I needed freon. Not sure how this happened as my air was working fine prior to the initial service. Initially, the air was great; however, the pipe was clogged and the condensation leaked the water onto basement floor. Quick fix by Sanks. Shortly afterwards my forced air became low and stunted. I waited a day next day progressed to no air at all. Sanks responded immediately same rep. This time motor issue. Told I needed freon as well because I had a leak. Needless to say there's a bill to fix motor and add freon. I wondered the reason my motor wasn't checked from the start. But then there wasn't anything wrong with the motor. The plastic Boscov bag supposedly stuck in my motor was from shoppingI did the previous week. I'm still perplexed on how the bag somehow bypass the door to the furnace and ended up caught in the motor. I never touched the furnace and my air was working fine. I'll leave it here. You could decide whether you want this service providerto come to your home.
