Choice Warranty sent this company to our home. Yesterday a technicians showed up to fix 2 air conditioning units. The tech could not get either to work, he said he would be back in the morning to continue to work on them. When the tech left, our third unit stopped working which means he did something. We called and he said he would take a look when he returned. Today another tech shows up. He spends 3 hours working on 1 unit. He speaks to his boss on the phone who determines it must be the board which costs $1200. He also tells the tech not to look at the second unit because he had been here too long. Clearly the third unit was out of the question! Both techs were very professional, however, the owner did not care that we have an elderly person living in the house and it is entirely too hot. He cared about time and wanted the tech to move on. I will never use this company again and I suggest you look else where if you want your units fixed. 2 HVAC specialists come out from this company and nothing is fixed. Here was their response. I find it funny that they don't mention refusing to come back to our home after refusing to fix the 2nd air conditioner that did not have a zoning board problem or the 3rd one that was working before their first tech messed with the system. Now we have an elderly parent that is having trouble breathing because it is so hot. What a joke! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!

Update: The next morning, another company came out, put refrigerant in it and it was up and running within an hour. They were trying to scam $1200 from us. I repeat...NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!

After having an energy audit and a tune up to my heating system I was well aware of what was causing my water leak. My home warranty company insisted that they have one of their contractors perform the diagnosis. Technician came to house and took pictures of furnace and leak. He sent it back to his home office for a diagnosis as he did not appear competent enough to diagnose the problem himself. Home office made an outrageous diagnosis of cracked heat exchanger. Without a full inspection or taking any carbon monoxide readings. Told me the only option was an entire furnace replacement. Quoted me for a 90% efficiency system. When I asked why I would install a 90% system when mine is already 92% and there are now systems with 95% efficiency. Tech said that they don’t install those systems and a 90% system was all I needed. No discussion of state rebates or financing options that are now available. Tech told me a I needed to sign his quote/diagnosis in two places. One was for authorizing them to do the work. I could not get him out of the house fast enough. They are underhanded, incompetent and only interested in selling you new heating systems. I will never, ever have them back in my house again. In addition, they never informed my warranty company of the simple issue that needed to be addressed (inducer pump replacement), despite the fact that the Tech had assured me he told them of that diagnosis that he did agree with. Steer clear of these guys!

Andrew (the owner of Herring's Home Quality Services) came out when my heater went down last week. He quickly diagnosed the bad ignitor & he was very professional & polite.... He treated us just like one of his family members. I would definitely recommend him to everybody I know that needs heating or a/c service...

Excellent efficient service. Made sure to stick around to make sure our unit didn’t trip again. Also, Took the time to talk on the phone to my husband, who was at work, to help describe what went wrong with our AC unit! A wonderful and easy experience!

I had service done in the winter through my home warranty service. The technician and staff were extremely professional, educated me on care for my HVAC system and offered and very fair maintenance program, which I will sign up for shortly. They serviced my HVAC at a peak time in the winter during a very cold week. I highly recommend them!

A/C unit making a knocking sound but running, so technician says that it is fine and he does not hear a sound, and I said you have to let it run a bit, he says nothing wrong with the unit. The unit knocks and if there is a part going bad I would like to know which part but he had a bad attitude, My husband had to ask him to take the cover off the unit and check. My issue isn't with Herring's but with the technician they sent to my home he came with a bad attitude and really didn't want to work!
