I hired Drew's Crew to install my heating and cooling system in my garage that's about 1,000+ sqft. Andrew, who was the personal and possibly owner who came out, suggested that we use 2 separate 36,000BTU to provide maximum coverage. Since, he's the expert, or so I thought, we agreed. I was sent an estimate for a specific LG unit 36k BTU and also a link to apply for financing.

We were approved for financing, but we also knew we wouldn't be ready until late Oct/early Nov.
Very late in Oct, we let Andrew know we were ready to start the process. Andrew came out on Thursday Nov 3 to start the process, at that time I asked him if we should be signing a contract before he starts work. He said no, we will do it the next day after he's done installing. 1st red flag....

The next day, Nov 4th, today, after he was done installing, he asked me to come down to take care of the paperwork. At that time, Andrew showed me an invoice (not contract) of what he installed. I quickly noticed it said 2 years labor warranty (not 10 as he promised). He changed that. BUT then, I noticed it said 2 24,000BTU (not the 36,000BTU he agreed to)... He then tried to get me to quickly approve financing so he can get paid.

I asked him why it says 24,000BTU, his 1st response was that's what we agreed to, I had to call me Electrician to back me up on what we agreed to up to 1 week ago plus in writing. His 2nd response was that it's a mistake on the invoice because it automatically printed, he can just update the invoice. I told him know; something is off. After checking the product on google further, it's actually 22,000BTU systems. Anyhow, his 3rd response was to consult the manufacturer to double check as if he had no idea what he installed. He said to me, the manufacturer said the system would REV up to 36k so I am still ok.

I told him the estimate and BTU isn't matching up, so I should get a lower estimate if that's the case, he said no, it's the same price. After realizing, he's not smarter than me, he cursed me out, took his 2 heads and drove away.

I reported him to the finance company and will be making this review public wherever. After having another company stop by today, I later found out that the LG system he tried to install says EXPORT ONLY. He incorrectly installed the outdoor system, would have fell off after a few shakes and he installed one of the units rights under a roof knowing very well how hot it would get.

I am happy I caught this before I clicked that agree button, this unit wouldn't last 1 year and they would not have serviced it, I literally dodged a bullet. Fortunately for me, I have video evidence of this encounter, stay clear of this company.

Darryl came to fix/install drain pump for my AC unit. Darryl was very knowledgeable and was able to diagnosis the leak from the unit. I’ve been with this company for a year now. They’ve been out for seasonal maintenance a couple of times and has always been very professional, knowledgeable and most importantly on time.

King came out in March for my AC maintenance and did a great job.

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Andrew , the owner. He came out because he likes to meet his clients. He did my maintenance, great customer service.

I called Drew’s Crew and they not only returned my call immediately, they came out when they said they would. In fact, the tech arrived to the appointment a few minutes ahead of schedule. He was friendly and knowledgeable, however, I don’t know if I would call the service that I had maintenance. The tech turned on the central air and then placed a gauge like device on my AC unit. The gauge read that I was low on coolant/refrigerant. Admittedly, I am not sure what services are performed with a maintenance check, however I assumed it would consist of checking the parts, checking for leaks, looking at the unit in the utility closet, checking the filter, etc. Maybe the gauge is all that was needed.

Nevertheless, I was told that I needed 4 pounds of coolant/refrigerant, which would be $200 per pound plus tax. The tech also recommended having the unit replaced because it is older, which is something that I am considering having done. Again, the tech was very personable, friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. Overall, I would recommend Drew’s Crew. If I choose to have them replace my AC unit I am confident they would do a good job.

Drew's Crew is the best! We are first time home buyers and had recently moved into a new home when the AC completely stopped working. We had a different company come in and look at the unit - they said the filters needed to be replaced and it would start working again. It did not, and we couldn't get a response from them to come back out and service the unit. Enter Drew's Crew! They came out quickly, provided a detailed estimate and options to replace the unit - during the estimate they walked us through all of the changes to installation they'd make, the type of unit - it was about a 1.5 hour visit vs the other options we considered which were less than 30 minutes. When the quotes came back, Drew's Crew was incredibly reasonable and we felt the best equipped for the job.

They were for 2 full days & their work was impeccable - they removed the old unit (which was not easy to access), installed the new unit, added additional vents for air return to help efficiency of the cooling system, installed a wifi enabled panel, upgraded the previous set up which had safety & efficiency issues. Overall, did amazing work & left our house spotless.

They were also just really nice, very easy to work with - all around a very positive experience. I would recommend them to anyone!
