We are very blessed to have our daughter, her husband and our 3 little grandsons live right next door to us. We bought the house at sheriffs auction last October and it has been great. As a Dad and Grandpa I have been trying to help where I can and when I went over to their house a few days back it was really hot. The heat pump wasn’t working thusly no cool air. We called the number on the furnace which was L&J Heating and Air Conditioning in Canby’. A week later a guy came out and looked at it. Said it would cost $395.00 to fix it plus a $450.00 belt. When my son told me that I said let’s get a second opinion. Another company came out and he spent 20mins checking it out came and got me gave me a Mini class on how this heat pump worked how to best take care of it, what to set the thermostat at and what to watch for. I asked him to show me the belt that was going out “ He said he would if there was one but the unit didn’t have a belt....." He cleaned some contacts put it back together and $89.00 later the house is cooling down. BEWARE OF L&J WE ALMOST GOT RIPPED OFF AND I AM SURE THAT SOME OF THE “GREAT REVIEWS “GOT RIPPED OFF AND DIDN’T EVEN KNOW IT!!!!! I HATE TO LEAVE ONE STAR BUT HAD TO. 🤬

Thank you Caden and Joe for installing my furnace. They were both friendly, efficient, and cleaned up everything before leaving. My furnace is working well. Happy with the service and would recommend this team

I can't tell you enough how grateful I am that Larry came to my rescue today!! Our AC stopped working yesterday, The temp was/is around 90 and I DO NOT do well in the heat. I called 12 places this am and naturally no one could come out…until I found Larry w/L & J :). Thank goodness he had a temporary part to get the AC running again until he comes back with the proper part on Thursday and he's going to service everything while he's here…Didn't plan on paying for all of this right now, but I am happy to help out the locals and especially ones like Larry who were so accommodating and professional. He even took the time to educate me on a few things :). Definitely will use them again!!

The whole team at L & J worked hard to solve all our issues and answer all of our questions along the way. I would like to send a big thank you to Justin, Zach and Larry for the great work they all did for us.

Zack came by and looked at my AC. After troubleshooting it for a little while he found two bad connections that were coming from the thermostat. He fixed it super fast and was very professional. Thank you Zack!!!!

Caden and Joe were kind, knowledgeable and responsive. We had a difficult venting problem to overcome and when the inspector required something extra, they were out immediately to solve the problem without additional charge.
