Joe Wolf came to provide an estimate for replacing the heat pump and gas furnace system in our house. He let us know when he was on his way here and arrived promptly. He was courteous and knowledgeable and answered our questions. Received the estimate in a timely manner

After 6 months of helping me try to have manufacture repair/parts shipped finally got my heat pump unit replaced and installed. They were great juggling communication between myself and manufacturer advocating for me. A whole new unit installed very quick and tested before leaving to ensure it worked properly. Can’t recommend enough!! They stuck with me and went above and beyond! Thank you!!

L&J just did an oil furnace conversion to a natural gas furnace in my home and did a great job. Working with Joe on getting a quote, answering questions on the quote, installation and follow up were all good experiences. They were very competitive on pricing. Joe, Vince and Jeremy were good to work around other contractors that were working in the area. After getting the gas turned on, Joe came back after work hours to turn the system on so that we could have heat during a cold spell.

Our service tech Ron was on time. We received text msg updates which we appreciate! Did a thorough check and found only a few items to be repaired vs another company that quoted us much higher for services we didn’t need. Ron was honest and straight forward and knew his stuff! I will be calling L&J for ALL my future HVAC needs. Thank you!

These guys were great. They were friendly and professional from my initial call to the office to the tech who showed up to do the service. Nowadays I really appreciate great customer service. Sometimes it is hard to find. I will definitely use them again!

Vince, Joe and Jeremy were very personable and worked very hard. They cleaned up when the work was complete and explained how to use my thermostat. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Our HVAC stopped working during a cold snap. Our normal HVAC go-to was booked out 3-weeks.

We called around and L & J does not service our area BUT they were understanding and helpful and made arrangements to come to our area for service for a small fee. L & J was the only company outside our service area willing to help us in a bind. They juggled their schedule and could arrive in 3 days, they also did troubleshooting on the phone to narrow down the problem. In the interim, another company we called, Gresham H&C with equally good reviews had a last minute cancellation and came up the following day. Gresham H & C did an outstanding job.

At L & J, we worked with "Katie" and she is amazing! A great representative for L & J. Very professional, kind, helpful and responsive.

Even though we didn't wind up needing L & J, if necessary, I'd use L & J in an instant and recommend without hesitation.

We recently had heat pump, furnace, and some other work done at our home. Everyone I spoke to was incredibly kind, respectful, and knowledgeable. Joe took it's time to explain the difference between a heat pump and a furnace and an air conditioner which I had no knowledge about. I highly recommend this company and their products! I've had some really bad luck in the past with other HVAC companies in Portland. You won't go wrong here!

After snow delays I got my appointment. Joe came out and performed a nitrogen leak test and added refrigerant to my Mitsubishi mini split that I installed. Great communication through the process and pricing was fair for the work/that was done. Will use L&J for any future hvac work. Office staff seemed very friendly as well.
