Jim, the technician that came out (arrived early even), was great (no complaints about him at all) but wasn't really who we needed. I told the woman that scheduled the appointment that we needed someone to install a programmable thermostat (even gave her the model) but that my husband had broken the wire to it off in the wall taking the old one out so new wiring was probably going to be needed when the new thermostat was installed. Unfortunately, it seems that Jim is more of a furnace technician and couldn't help with an estimate of what new wiring would cost. He did give us an estimate for two different thermostat installations (both of which are well over what we can afford). We were told to contact the company again if we wanted someone else to come out to give us an estimate for the wiring work. I thought that's why someone was coming out in the first place. Had I known that wasn't going to happen I would have cancelled the appointment and saved $139.

Three star review because they did get someone out the next day and he was very polite and friendly. Just wasn't the person that we needed sent out.

Our technician was great. He explained what he did and his observations in great detail. Communication with the schedulers was also fantastic. Zero complaints about their attention to customer service. 5 stars for that. We were a bit shocked and taken back, however that the $212.00 estimate we ok'd to replace the ignitor literally took 2 screws and less than 5 minutes. That's a pretty steep hourly charge for a $16 part. Not sure if that's the going rate with all HVAC companies, but it left a pretty bad taste in our mouths to have spent that much money for such a ridiculously simple job especially since they were already at our home to service our furnace.

Jason Shaw came and gave us a quote for heating/cooling the addition on our house. He was very helpful, and pleasant to talk to. He was clear and honest and gave us a quote while he was here. Very nice guy and we look forward to working with him!

Very professional. Very knowledgeable and shared information freely. I learned a lot about my furnace and A/C unit! Very friendly and efficient. Reccomended appropriate updates when necessary.
Also they have a great tracking app that tracks when they will show up so you're not waiting around wondering. Would highly recommend this company.

Wow! Efficiency Heating and Cooling really came through for my family! We were in need of our air ducts reattached and Johnny Durango and his team of professionals really help us meet a tight deadline over a weekend! Kudos to the Efficiency team!

Prices were fair. Communication was above expectations. Work was buttoned up nicely and looks practically brand new, which is saying a lot given the state it was in before repair.

Ken with Efficiency Heating & Cooling was fantastic when dropping by to check on our furnace system. He was very courteous, professional and thoughtful in both his explanations and work. He mentioned that the products the previous home owner had setup were great, however, the workmanship for the furnace was not -- and I could easily see what he pointed out in the jumble of wires holding up boards and such. He did a great job in making things top notch, and I would happily recommend them. I also plan on having them check out and clean my AC when spring rolls around. Thank you!
