The tech arrived on time and was very polite and conscientious. He checked everything very thoroughly. He found a problem with the capacitor and attempted to find a replacement right away. When it was obvious it needed to be ordered he made sure the A/C was left in working order so we wouldn’t be without A/C. He called back promptly to let me know the order had been placed.

Overall, Larry is very professional and conscientious.

Dale does a great job, I always like it when he comes here. This morning he also helped me with my electrical breaker which I thought I needed an electrician for, so he saved me a lot of money. He also gave me a idea for my backyard, which I really appreciated.

We were shopping for HVAC support and gave Mtn. View a try. They came and fixed our blower fan last month and we were satisfied with the service and cost.

This week I had to call them as the controller board on our furnace failed. This was something that I had already diagnosed, and communicated on the phone, but needed a tech to come out and replace the board. So the tech shows up and tells us the board needs replaced and leaves. This was a $159 charge for less than 10 minutes of labor with no resolution.

Then i get a call back saying that it will cost an additional $589 to have the board replaced, replacement board cost is less than $200. The time required to replace the board is ~30min. So for the board replacement it is going to cost me ~$500 in labor for less than 1 hour of work.

After my first positive experience I was willing to be a life long customer. But after this experience I will be going back out to market.

*Update*
It ended up taking only 20 minutes to replace the board. Dropped my rating to one star after the reading the owner's response. A maintenance contract would not have prevented my control board from failing. Stay informed shoppers.
