Dowd Heat and Air

Dowd’s Heat and Air Technician came out and diagnosed the problem being a Heater igniter control board when a technician that my home warranty company sent indicated it was the thermostat. My home warranty technician left with-out fixing the issue but Dowd’s Heat and AIr not only came a diagnosed the problem they came back quickly after the home warranty company agreed to cover the charges and installed the new control board and my heater was up and running excellently in no time flat. Very professional, knowledgeable and courteous technician. Price was also reasonable. Highly recommend them for your Heat & Air issues.

This place is INCREDIBLE!! I came home to find out AC had gone out. I didn't have a clue what to do so I started calling places. Billie (sorry if I spelled her name wrong!) was SO helpful, she advised me of what to do and worked her hardest to find someone to come help that night. One the technician got there he was great! Courteous, respectful and quick! I HIGHLY recommend this company and if the boss sees this, Billie deserves a raise!

Called them to come out and give me a quote on a new heating and cooling system. They called me 10 minutes passed the scheduled appointment and told me that they would be there in 30 minutes. Needless to say, I told them to forget it. I can understand that things come up and people will be late, but calling 10 minutes after the appointment time is unacceptable.

Dowd has done work for us on several occasions & each time it was a good experience. They were professional, polite & did the work right the first time.

They are contracted with PSO to install a thermostat. I understand this is a non emergency and they have to get to people without A.C. at the start of the summer. But they rescheduled twice with notice of only the late morning of. One of those days I had to take time off of work. The third time, I rescheduled when they said it would probably be at least another couple hours after the time we set... I understand all of this. But I set an appointment today for 3:30. It is now past 8:30 and I have not heard anything from them. Wasted Friday.

Dowd has been very responsive to any calls for maintenance, they are an honest, well-run operation with friendly staff. Highly recommend them.

I use Dowd to do annual service on my rental properties. They are also quick to respond in emergency situations. Great company to work with.
