Dowd Heat and Air

I'm happy to have found folks that took care of what was needed without trying to upsell me in any way. I know who I will be calling to help me get every bit of use out of my current hvac system. Dowd will also be getting the first bid when the time comes for replacement. Honest, friendly, courteous, trustworthy and highly professional!

Great guys! Was referred to Dowd by a friend in the HVAC business. Was told they do good work and wouldn't overcharge me. He was correct on both accounts. The quote I got from Dowd was considerably less than the others and they got to work the next day. My old system was a mess and we ended up replacing everything. My only complaint would be their scheduling and time management. June is a busy time of year for them and they have a lot going on, but I expected calls when they couldn't get out at the scheduled times. In the end, I feel like I got a great high efficiency system and they did a good job of installing it correctly. Will definitely be using them for all my HVAC needs from now on.

I’ve never experienced such honesty in a field where they could have not been. My a/c quit working, so they came out to look at it. I know nothing about a/c units whatsoever and I thought I was going to have to purchase a new unit. I was so surprised when the nice gentleman told me it just needed to be cleaned out. He was there 10 minutes and left. Grateful is too small a word to use but describes best how I feel about Dowd Heat and Air.

Dowds service was great, came out to the house gave me a very competitive bid and preformed the work the next day!!! I was very pleased with Terry Dowd (Owner) and his crew. He doesn't BS you. He does exactly what he says he is going to do!!! I love my new Bryant system :)

Terry and his crew were great. They came out on time and explained everything to me. They quoted me a price and completed the work for exactly the price they quoted. I would absolutely use them again!

Very impressive service! Rusty and crew did an excellent job installing our new system. Terry helped locate hidden ducts covered during a shoddy remodel and had sheet metal delivered to repair our old rusted plenum. These are the guys you can trust to get the job done right the first time.

My A/C went out last month. I called and priced Heating and Air systems around town. Dowd Heat & Air was who I went with. They had fast and friendly service. Good quality equipment. They even called me the next following week to make sure everything was still running good. My utility bill has reduced by almost half from last year and my house is cooler than it has ever been. I called them out today. They came out really fast; which really surprised me. They did a good job and got me up and running in not too long of a time. I would have given them 5 stars. But I need to get further estimates on a furnace replacement. They sounded a little high on estimate to replace it. But I may be wrong. I will get some more estimates on replacing furnace.

Came out to reinforce our heating pipe on the roof. Same day service and the technician was great. They were fair and didn't charge us since when our home was built they felt it should have been reinforced more. They did the install of the HVAC when our home was built.

Service man very thorough, removing the winter's accumulation of leaves and washing out unit. This has not been done by last two companies. Spent time on check list--so impressed with attention to inspection details. Have them on a one year contract as a result.
