Our air conditioner went out on the hottest day of the year. We have a home warranty package and they could not get someone out until 3 days later.. when that tech came out he wasn’t prepared to fix anything. We decided to just pay out of pocket and call A-best and the customer service was awesome they sent someone the very next morning and he fixed our unit and did maintenance in just an hour our house was cooling again. Robby was our tech and he did an amazing job at explaining everything he needed to do and showing us our faulty parts so that we were knowledgeable. It was upfront pricing. He did not just start adding a bunch of stuff without coming in to talk to us first . I would recommend them again.
Came home from work last Friday to no AC. They couldn’t get the part needed to repair until last Monday morning. So, after spending a very hot weekend without AC, they made it a priority to get someone to my house that same day prior to the 4th of July holiday. Technician showed up just as it was starting to rain but moved quickly to get the fan motor replaced so I could start cooling down. Couldn’t be more impressed with the responsiveness of this company. Price was better than competitors as well.
We have used this company for years. We paid for the yearly maintenance package. The technician said our drier was bad & would cost $750! I got a second opinion & the part is just fine. The safety switch was shutting it off. I’ve decided to go to with another company. I will say when we called, A Best agreed to refund our yearly fee & the maintenance call. Customer service was easy to work with.
I spoke with Jarred about getting a new Diakin Heating and Air system installed. I had several questions about 2 different units I was considering. He was very patient, answered my questions, and was very informative. He also came out to the house to make sure that everything was as it should be for the unit we had decided on which was a 14 Seer. Since he installs a lot of Diakin, he was able to give me a better price than my other quotes. John and Lewis came out to do the installation, were very thorough, and did a wonderful job. They also changed out my 14" return ducting in the attic to 16" ducting because Jarred wanted to make sure the new unit would work at its best. John even came back the next day to adjust the flame on the gas furnace because he wasn't satisfied with the way it was and didn't have his gauge with him the day before. We were very impressed with Jarred, John, and Lewis. We would highly recommend A Best Air and Heat to anyone needing a new unit. They are great!
My air conditioner went down Tuesday I called the heat/air company that installed my unit which is in 2 1/2 yrs old & they could not be out until Monday. Called Wednesday morning because my girlfriend recommended A Best Air & Heat which they came out later that day, they even showed up early had my air back on in 20 min. Got their maintenance plan. We happy to be back to being cool again! They have my business now. Thank you guys !
This service charged nearly $900.00 Labor and Service Fees to replace a $200.00 part that required less than an hour to install. They're efficient, if you can afford it. 3 people showed up to do the job which I described before I made the appointment. They refused to detail parts and labor. I can see why.

Technician didn’t make it to the first scheduled appointment and had to call office to find out if he was coming. Was disappointed with that. Office personnel apologized and rescheduled me for the following week. Technician was on time, did great work and was quick with ac maintenance. I am chalking the first time to a fluke/emergency and rating them on the second trip. Thank you A best.

The technician worked in the attic and said he solved the issue and would just need to do a little service work. Then he came down and “noticed” the furnace wasn’t working. He went back up and said a part had failed that he couldn’t get until the next morning and would cost $600-1500. I called out another company. The technician discovered that A Best had turned off the gas. He turned it back on and the unit has worked fine ever since. This was either a scam or complete incompetence.
