I would definitely call them again. My boyfriend and I are new home owners and our AC suddenly went out. They were able to get us an appointment very quickly (other places were booked out 1-2 weeks) and an hour time frame rather than 3-4 hour time frames for appointments. The man who came to do our service was extremely friendly and kind. Literally all that was wrong was we hadn’t replaced the air filter since we moved in 2 years ago (whoops!) but he still did a thorough check of everything to make sure for us. He didn’t make me feel bad for not knowing about the air filter and told us a few things to make sure were doing regularly for upkeep. Great experience!

Very happy with our decision to go with Glass City. Sales guy was quick and efficient (didn’t try to upsell or take 6 hours to go over everything). Installers were professional and knew what they were doing. Someone actually answered our phone calls when we called the office! Also, they were $2,000 cheaper than everyone else! Overall very satisfied. Highly recommend.

Man had a bad attitude when he saw that I already had the cover off the electronics on my central air unit outside. I tried to do a little DIY trouble shooting myself. His comment was something to the effect " Looks like someone's already been in there. What do you want me to do?" . Then I explained to him I didn't change anything was just trying to see where I had power and didn't. He proceeded to troubleshoot and decided that the motor was burned out and it needed to be replaced. Charged me $100 for the diagnostic and said his office would get in contact with me for price for the motor. They got in contact with me told me $870 to replace the motor. I thought that was a little high. Two days later saw an HVAC guy working down the street asked him to come over for a second opinion. He came over took a look at it and discovered that the circuit board not the motor itself was
bad. He changed some wires around motor started right up.The motor not burned up and is running fine the guy charged me 40 bucks. If I hadn't got that second opinion I'd be out $1,000 right now. I feel like I should ask for my $100 diagnostic fee back considering it was wrong but I'm sure I'd get an argument over semantics and never see that hundred again. So the big question would I ever recommend Glass City heating and Air? Absolutely not.

We called them out because the furnace was working intermittently. The tech made some adjustments but advised that with the condition and age of the furnace, it was likely to need replaced. The fact that they did not pressure us into anything was the best part of the experience. We did end up having them install our new furnace and i loved everyone we had contact with. The office lady was super friendly and let us know what was happening every step of the way. The techs were polite and cared that they job they did was accurate. Now my house is warm and i am so glad we had GCHAC do the install. Thank you for a wonderful experience! And no offense, but hope to not see you for a while!!!! :)

I called them last winter when our 30 year old furnace quit and they were able to come out the same day and fix it for slightly over $100. The technician suggested we get a new furnace soon, because getting parts would be hard for an old furnace. I decided to get a new furnace last week and I am very satisfied. I would highly recommend Glass City Heating and Air Conditioning.

Had another company come in and try to scare my mother in law to replace her entire HVAC system. I called glass city for a second opinion. They were on time and extremely professional. Mike thoroughly inspected the furnace, checked all of the carbon monoxide levels and efficiency. Recommended a few services (which we will be scheduling) charged us a fair price for inspection and gave it a clean Bill of health. It’s good to find that there are still honest companies out there, thank you Mike and Glass city HVAC!
