    I have been a customer of A-1 heating for probably 20 years. The service has been good BUT I can say that a young man by the name of Shawn came out today and raised the bar! He was extremely knowledgeable and made sure that I was educated in the service and broke down the cost to me nicely. He was thorough, pleasant, and exemplified a sometimes lost art in complete professionalism and customer satisfaction. I hope to have him for all of my furnace and a/c maintenance needs! Thank you Shawn!!

    We called on Friday because our HVAC was out. They told us the earliest appointment was Monday afternoon, so we scheduled it. They never showed up, and never called. I called for an update, and they had no idea who I was, and asked for my information all over again. Total waste of time.
    Update: we went with Glass City Heating & Cooling instead; not only did they actually show up, the owner himself came out and took great care of us.

    I called this morning, and was told they could have someone out in about an hour, my heat went out, and my furnace was way old, and had electrical issues yesterday that I had gotten taken care of, but unfortunately it fried my furnace. Mike showed up, very nice and professional, asked what was going on, we talked, he looked everything over, wrote up an estimate for both heat and air! I will have heat today, new furnace and ac unit! Thank you Mike, and everyone else that works there for making this so easy, and at a good price, and warranty! Highly recommend them.

    Underwhelming. I have a 100 year old home. It has hydronic radiators. We've been here 5 years and I just wanted someone to come out and inspect my system and service the boiler. What I got was a disheveled tech who could barely repeat the name of the company he worked for, who charged me $95 to shop vac the burners. Something I could have done myself. Didn't explain why my dump valve is dripping when I asked. Said I needed a new pump but didn't point it out to me. I tried asking deeper questions about why it was doing what it was doing and was getting nowhere so I stopped asking questions and just wrote the check. I replaced the bleeder valve and expansion tank myself 3 years ago. I wanted a professional to give it a proper once-over and explain how it should be properly maintained, and I feel like I paid for custodial work, not a specialist's knowledge. He said I would get an estimate for the part he recommended, but I haven't heard from anyone. I'll be calling another company to restart the process I guess. Maybe other people who've left reviews here had better experiences than I did. Luck of the draw? I'm not in the habit of paying for nothing.

    Consumers beware, this company will rip you off if you don't do your research. I was charge over $1100 for a furnace blower that only cost 260.00 technician Steve Bishop is a good guy but the company is terrible.

    Mike was very professional and prompt in helping to diagnose and recommend the service needed with no loss of heat and the workers were efficient and professional in installing my furnace, and Mike was wonderful in his help with financing my new purchase, thanks to everyone involved including the the person who answered my call for help, I highly recommend y’all and I have to my friends and family.

    The woman on the phone who sends the men out was very rude, Don was out twice and was unable to fix the issue he also bypassed a safety feature to get it to run and said it was good to go, he was very friendly however. A few days later Larry came out and thought it was a heater core said we will likely need a new furnace. After talking things over with him we figured out the true issue and he was able to fix it for us. Larry was friendly as well but had I not been persistent and gone over everything with them I may have replaced my heater for what was a very simple fix. The woman on the phone set the tone for the overall experience and with as snark and rude as she is we will not use them in the future. Prices were fair the men were helpful and ultimately Larry was able to fix our issues. So for him we are thankful.

    My furnace went out and the next day, which was a Sunday, Mike came out and diagnosed the problem. Within two hours, his team had a new furnace delivered and they installed it very fast. These guys are good and I will be using them for any future HVAC service. A++
