A tech came to my house and "fixed" my AC by adding some coolant. However two days later it stopped working. When i called the company to have them send someone out they began to say "they only check for leaks under certain circumstances" and when I asked if they check for things other than leaks or just fix the first thing they see and called it a day, they became rude and said that "it's like a car, when you fix something something else can break" to which I replied that if my mechanic didn't fix my car right, they would take responsibility and make it right. At that point the rep "transferred" me, essentially hung up on me, to my home warranty company because she said I "didn't pay them any money". When I called back to explain that I did pay their tech money the same rep was rude and "transferred me again". I called a third time to try and explain that I had a paid receipt and my home warranty company had nothing to do with the service, I talked to a third rep who threatened to "file a police report" and literally yelled at me before she hung up. I asked to speak to a manager the 2nd and 3rd time I called only to be told "there is no manager in the office". I guess they don't have cell phones either, weird thing for 2021.
I've managed customer service for over a decade and I can guarantee you BOTH of these reps would be fired if they worked for the companies I've worked for. Hanging up on a customer (even under the false claim of a transfer) and yelling at a customer are grounds for immediate termination.
Worst customer experience I've ever had with any company, ever. I almost never post online reviews, so this shows you how bad this company is. DO NOT USE. If your home warranty company goes to send them out, ask for someone else! I am still in shock how this company treated a paying customer.

My heat wouldn’t work, and I know absolutely nothing about this stuff so I was skeptical that I would be taken advantage of when calling a company. Luckily I called these guys or I may have been. A tech named Jason came out and quickly, and I mean QUICKLY, assessed that there was a dead bird in my furnace somewhere (I don’t remember exactly where it was,) but sure enough he pulled a dead bird out shortly after he voiced his opinion that he thought that’s what it was. I recommend asking for this guy when calling to schedule an appointment. I cant speak for the other techs, if they are as upfront and knowledgeable as this guy, but if so then this is the company you want working on your furnace 👍🏻

After being without my AC for a week, and another company not showing up all week for its appts to repair my AC, today, a Sunday, Robert Starett from AirMax responded in record time after he received the call for help. I didn't expect a repairman to be happy and friendly having to work on a Sunday, but Robert was both. He explored the reasons my AC wasn't cooling and kept me informed all along the way. Robert's expertise was obvious. He had to repair 3 items on the AC; and even before he left my house I could feel the cold air again. I am so grateful for AirMax and especially for Robert and his knowledge and professionalism. A really wonderful experience with AirMax today!

The pipes to our furnace started freezing up so we called American Home Sheild to have someone come out and take a look. In less than 24 hours a very nice woman called me from AirMax to set up our appointment for the next day. The technician they sent out was Joshua. HE WAS AWESOME!! He was super knowledgeable and explained everything in terms we could understand. He took his time and gave us advice on what to do. We honestly could not have gotten a better technician. I would recommend Joshua to anyone and everyone.

My furnace was totally out. Like, something on it literally blew up! Technician Jason came out and was awesome!!! Extremely professional, exactly on time, great attitude. He fixed it and in a timely manner! He also made sure the area he was working in was as clean (probably cleaner! Lol) as when he started! Will recommend this company to everyone I know! Keep up the great job!

AirMax Pro Heating and Cooling was wonderful! Robert the tech came out and fixed a simple problem which is great when it comes to big appliances breaking at home. HSA warranty took care of us! AirMax Pro Heating and Cooling was professional, timely! I highly recommend and will use again!

Jason was very helpful, fast and courteous. He actually came the day before he was scheduled (called ahead first) which was a godsend because it was HOT! Very professional and really knows his trade - so I’m confident in the repair. Definitely recommend!

Robert just literally left my house and he is a God send.
This is my first home and everytime something breaks I freak out. They were sent out through my warranty and called me not even 10min after I hung up my call to schedule me in. Robert came and not only assisted with my loud furnace but I have a separate wall
Unit that was clogged and I didn’t know. He unclogged it and gave me a little extra
Coolant ! I will totally refer this company and will use them in the future !

I put in a service call yesterday and was scheduled for Robert to come out this Sunday which I thought was rather quick considering 80's plus temperatures. I received a call later in the afternoon stating he was in the area and can stop by the same evening. Robert arrived and figured out the problem very quickly. He was extremely knowledgable and handled the situation to my approval to secure a customer for life. Thanks again!!!

Hello Mike,
I attempted to rectify & explain my issue with your customer service during payment today with Jenna who you had call me. However, she was less than understanding and chose to ask me to stop talking at one point (which she later apologized for and stated it was a poor choice of words) At that point I asked to speak with her supervisor. I was told a Robert would call me back and have yet to hear from him.
Jason our tech was wonderful. However. I wasn’t home at the service call and my husband did not have access to a checkbook to pay Jason (who said he just took checks). He told us the office would call. Well they did call & I missed the calls (my phone was on silent due to have had sat in 3+ hours of teacher meetings that AM.)The first call was at 1:04, then 1:05, then again at 1:38 & I was able to answer at 1:47 where I promptly paid and explained like others I was still working from home and attending to my family. I was given not even 30 min between repetitive phone calls. Further more, upon opening my phone I had the attached text message in between the phone calls. Then additionally I found the same message in my personal email box this morning. My husband would have been happy to use his card at the time when Jason was here. 30 min of wait time with harassing all caps messages is poor customer service. I’m not sure where the break down is here in the office but the way both of these ladies handled themselves is not a stellar representation of this company. Yesterday you all made a post on your FB page that the best business is word of mouth business, this would not be true for our family. & we have no regular heating and air connection or loyalty in our area. I wanted to give you the chance to make this right and as of right now this has not happened. American Home Shield always sends a customer service survey for any service requests when jobs are complete, I would not be able to make this as a company I would want them to send to me should we have an issue with our HVAC in the future.

Companies who show humility in saying their sorry for a rocky process are an A+ in my book & would get return service. This company will not.
