    The technician who came out to service my AC unit was friendly, honest, and very thorough. He was full of great advice, tips. He was friendly and professional, but not uptight. He didn't make it feel weird for me to ask questions, and was very nice when answering them.

    Will be recommending to everyone, and will be calling them whenever I need anymore service.

    American Heating and Air Conditioning installed our HVAC units when our home was built over 20 years ago. They have faithfully serviced these units without a single instance in which they have disappointed us in all that time. They have always been extremely responsive whenever we have called to set up routine seasonal service, or, when repairs or adjustments have been necessary. We recommend them without any reservations or hesitation.

    The American Heating and Air Conditioning Company installed a Carrier Air Conditioning system soon after we purchased our house in 1990. We have customers ever since. The technicians, sales staff, administration and management are friendly and helpful. We have a maintenance program and have only had one "emergency" call. Two years ago, the air conditioning system quit because of capacitor failure. After they fixed the system, we decided that a replacement would be a wise idea. The sales staff helped us get a nice rebate from Carrier on a new furnace and A/C system.

    We have always had great experiences with this company. But today the technician, Dave, went above and beyond. He meticulously troubleshot our furnace issues. He was pleasant and professional throughout. We would recommend again and again!

    Great company to work with, from pleasant Ginny, the scheduler, on the phone to techs Charlie and Jim, who know boiler systems, patiently explain the parts, and offer maintenance tips. Have used this company dating back many years, foolishly called some others in the interim, and have wisely returned to American for my HVAC needs.

    Unfortunately, we were not able to buy from them due to our monetary issues at the time.
    HOWEVER.... From the very, start to finish, this company was amazing. I didn't have to wait on hold, the receptionist answered the phone quickly; with a very nice, and personal attitude. She was incredibly sweet through our conversation of what was wrong and making an appointment.

    Over the years we have used several HVAC companies in our search for a company we could trust. Several years ago we called American. Our search was over. Every service rep we've had (we have 2 favorites) has been professional and experienced and been with the company for a number of years. There's always a friendly voice when you have to call in (usually Ginny). It's now time to replace our system, and we didn't hesitate to have American handle the job.

    We have always had great service and a quick response from this company.
    Just this week we had an original 12 year AC unit go out. They can the next day to service but informed us that we needed a new unit. It's already installed before I got back from my business trip.
    We also highly suggest getting on their yearly maintenance plan. This service package let's them remind you it is time to service so you do not have to remember to do so.

    We got our air conditioner and heater tuned up, or supposedly did on February 17 2017 and never used the AC until April 22 because it was not hot enough yet. When we turned it on it didn't work. We have never had a problem with our ac before this so I called the office on April 24 only to hear someone tell me that I would have to pay a diagnostic fee because it has been just over 60 days. On top of that the technician left my water on with the nozzle closed but constantly leaking and I didn't realize it until 3 days later which cost me money. All the flyers they try to put out to gain your business and they treat you like this. Well they lost our business. I hope it was worth it.
