Tech came to our house and diagnosed the problem. Got a quote and the parts were ordered promptly. We scheduled at return visit for the end of the week. Tech was knowledgeable and courteous.

I've had several excellent interactions with multiple folks with Canal Heating and Cooling. I highly recommend them for annual maintenance services, HVAC repair work, and HVAC replacement. I've used them for all and have been very satisfied with the work and the price.

We stretched the use of our old furnace as long as possible. It developed a small, almost undetectable, gas leak this past year and it started making some rattling noises. The humidifier hadn't worked for years, the thermostat was original to our 44 year old home, and a vent pipe had been installed to slope back towards the furnace.

We had service techs from two other companies come out; neither of them were able to detect a leak. The second one told my wife Columbia Gas, who identified the leak and showed us where it was coming from, was mistaken and then he tried to sell her a new furnace since ours was so old. We paid for a service call that was used to give us a sales pitch instead of addressing our concerns.

Canal Winchester Heating & Cooling sent a tech who knew what he was doing. He came out prepared, located the leak, and told me what it would cost to fix it. He even showed me the quote he got for the part that would have to be ordered. The cost pushed me over the threshold, especially since I knew of the other issues with my old system. CWHC gave me a fair price on a good quality furnace and humidifier. The removal and installation took several hours, but it was done right and the techs were respectful and left the place clean. We got a new furnace, thermostat, humidifier and the techs re-routed the vent to slope away from the unit. They showed my wife how to use the system and gave her some tips about changing the filter and regular maintenance.

We were very pleased with the price and the service we received from Canal Winchester Heating & Cooling. The new system worked very well this winter.

In the past we had CWH&C come out to repair our old AC unit. This last fall we had them come out and replace the whole HVAC system due to a failing furnace along with the age of the AC. They were very timely from start to finish. The initial install took less time that they quoted for both the AC unit and the furnace unit. The installers were very respectful and even interacted with our pets. I also had them come out and clean the vents afterwards since it had never been done in the 10 years I have had the house. I have dealt with quite a few of their staff and I have to say that Jeff and his team have a great crew. I would recommend them highly to anyone who is in need of HVAC repair or replacement and I have. I will not deal with anyone else as their prices and fees are lower than all the others I have talked with and the timely service with a smile is always welcoming.
