I bought a Delta toilet from Home Depot on Elm Eugene St on a Saturday and paid for installation. I called the company that was supposed to install it on Monday. Its rep. told me she would call right back. I never heard from her.

I called Mike at Affordable Plumbing at 2:56 the following Monday after Christmas. He returned my call four minutes later at 3:00. I was already impressed.

Mike gave me a 1:00 to 3:00 estimated arrival time for the next day. Buddy was at my house at 12:55! How often does that happen?

Buddy took measurements to make sure the toilet I picked would fit. It did. He had the old one pulled out in about ten minutes and the new one installed before 2:00.

I was happy enough with what I was charged. It was a little more than Home Depot's installation was going to run, but again that company never called me back.

They did not offer to dispose of the old toilet. That was not a problem for me. It's something you might want to ask Mike about when you line up the job if it would be for you, though.

I'm pleased with the work and would use Affordable Plumbing again.

I needed a plumber to check out and fix my Mom's hot water heater; problem is, she's in Greensboro and I live in New England. After reading reviews I gave Affordable a call. Mike got back to me extremely quickly and managed to find a spot in his schedule in order to quickly get my Mom back up and running. He coordinated with me very well over the phone (multiple calls) and was very professional. He got the job done at a very fair price. I can't recommend Mike and Affordable Plumbing highly enough!

As new residents of Greensboro, we ran into a totally clogged house after a couple weeks - toilets backing up, water/sewage creeping into the bathtub. A friend referred us to Mike at Affordable Plumbing, and within a few hours everything was taken care of. Pricing was very reasonable, Mike was fast and explained everything in a way I (not particularly skilled in any of this) could understand. I highly recommend, and will always go back to Affordable Plumbing in the future.

I've used Affordable Plumbing four times with Mike doing the work. The first time, when no other company would come due to the weekend and bad weather he came, found a a temporary sump pump and installed a good quality one the next week. On two calls, he fixed the problems and then showed us what to do if they reoccurred.
Mike and his work are trustworthy. He has never taken advantage of our lack of repair knowledge and never has done extra work to get more money. He is a professional.

My yard was flooded and the sound of gushing water was heard in my crawl space. What a morning and the plumber I usually call couldn't get to my problem until after 5 at overtime rates. I decided to just Google it and landed on Affordable Plumbing. These two gentlemen, Mike and Joseph, were so nice and accommodating. They returned my calls promptly and came out that morning. There was 8 inches of standing water in the crawl space and Joseph was willing to risk going under there near the electrical fixtures and fix the problem which was three leaks in my old copper pipes. All the while they both were friendly and informative as the project progressed. Mike gave me an "affordable" price for all the work they did and the job is holding up nicely a week later. I highly recommend Affordable Plumbing and hope you will be as satisfied with the service as I was.

I have used Affordable Plumbing for some big jobs (installing new sewer and water line pipes) and small jobs (installing a whole-house water filter), and I get the same great service each time. When I first called Mike, his quote was much lower than a previous one and since that fist time, I no longer need to contact anyone else, as I know he will provide the best service at the lowest price. I was able to call him on a Sunday night when my hot water heater went out, and he came the next day to install a new one. He is able to work with older homes (mine was built in 1938) and all of his employees are friendly, courteous and excellent at what they do. If you need an excellent plumber in the Greensboro area, I would not hesitate to call Affordable Plumbing.

Affordable Plumbing has done work for us a couple of times. We have been happy with both the service and price. We had what looked like might be a potential problem and Affordable Plumbing came to the house. They diagnosed the issue, gave me their recommendation and didn't even charge me for the service call. Can't thank them enough for their customer service

Kind, efficient, helpful.
My bathroom had 3 issues all needing addressed. Affordable Plumbing came out, were on time, diagnosed the issues, discussed the repair with me then tackled the problems. The repairs were a little more intense than expected. They completed the repairs and did not charge me extra for the extra required effort or try to upsell me. I greatly appreciated that. Working with larger repair companies often means the final total comes out way more than expected. This experience was far more positive than that. I highly recommend these guys!
