They provided service at two rental locations. They came promptly however the service that they provided didn't work. They claimed on the invoice that both air conditioning units were operational. I called them because one was not operational. They did fix one of the units so that it worked and continues to work. The other did not work after they left and I had another company come in who showed me a chunk of ice that had broken the heater...which Hays neglected to find. I was very happy with the second company's work (Boer Brothers Heating & Cooling). I paid Hays Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. because my time is too valuable to squabble with them; However...beware if you ask them to work. They are not efficient. And of course they didn't replace the air filters either. So I paid them over $350. for nothing. Hay's Heating...avoid, AVOID, AVOID! unless you want a repair that lasts less than a day.

We recently had a problem with our HVAC AC system. A technician came out the SAME day we called. This was compared to the week or two wait for two other Durham AC companies we called. Hays diagnosed it as a broken valve with the Freon system. They were able to replace the part and get our AC system back up and working the NEXT day. Hays even worked with our manufacturer warranty to reduce the cost. Excellent service!

Outstanding Service Level!
We built a new home over 4 years ago and I needed to finally have service on a Trane Heat Pump Unit. I called on 2/1/18 and spoke to Susan. Within in an hour I had Tony at my door repairing the unit. Both Susan and Tony were outstanding to deal with and the service level and experience was truly outstanding I have found a new HVAC service company. Thank you Susan . Thank you Tony.

Between the two of us, we have many, many occasions throughout any year to call on Hay's Heating and Air Conditioning. Hay's has our full loyalty and respect.
They have always been trustworthy, responsive and very accurate. We have experience with Hay's Heating & Air Conditioning with new construction homes as well as repairs on HVAC units of all ages and brands. I have had experience with many other HVAC companies but not since I started using Hay's in 2008. I always recommend them when asked. This is truly an A+ company!

Unreliable and discourteous. I made an appointment for Hay's Heating & Air Conditioning to provide a quote for the replacement of my home's HVAC system on Wednesday 10/18/2017 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. After waiting at home the entire time, I called Hay's a few minutes after 2:00. Susan addressed me by name, so obviously had my appointment on the schedule, yet nobody had arrived or even had the courtesy to inform me of any delays or issues. I was told that the technician was "in a meeting" and was asked to reschedule the appointment for a different day. I told Susan that I will not conduct business with a company that is so deeply disrespectful and discourteous of my time and commitment.

Tony came to check my broken down AC today, and was wonderful. I just made it within the 30-day window since his last visit, and he didn't charge me. I am planning to have an open house to show off my little renovation, and I’m excited to talk up Hay’s HVAC to my neighbors and guests who are looking for reliable service.
