So I moved into a newly built home which Hay's installed the unit. They were who I had the warranty with. I've only been in the home about 2 years. The AC went out and then the unit was running loud. I was getting complaints from my neighbors about my unit running loud. I called them multiple times. The unit seemed to be fixed until I walk in from night shift and my home is freezing when the temperature outside is in the teens. I ended up calling a different HVAC company. When the other company showed up they immediately found that the system was wired up wrong. I am upset that I paid these people multiple times and they still did not catch this.

I called Hay's heating and air-conditioning after discovering that my heat was not working properly. I was able to make an appointment for a technician to come out within just a couple hours to my house. The technician called 20 minutes before arrival to make sure I was at home. When he showed up he had a smile on his face and a presentable clean uniform. He removed his shoes before entering my home. After investigating my system he gave me a couple options of replacing a part or replacing my system. Since I had an older system and was looking for a more environmentally friendly system he gave me three options of systems to choose from. He was very attentive to my request and needs for this new system and answered all of my questions there on the spot. I told him I needed to speak with my husband that night, he was very respectful of this decision and let me know that he would call me in the morning. The next morning he called just as he said he would and we were able to set up an appointment for that day to install my new system. The technician from Hay's heating and air-conditioning went through everything with me to make sure that I knew everything there was to know about my new system and how to work it.
Overall this was a great experience and I have recommended Hay's to my friends and family. Great job Hay's!

We have had a series of unfortunate events related to our HVAC and it literally exploded one evening, Hay’s was so quick to come out the next day, evaluate the issue and install a new unit same day!

They have been wonderful to talk to over the phone and know person, our HVAC is now running the best it ever has. We have been very impressed with their customer service and always super friendly technicians. We recently resigned our yearly maintenance agreement and will continue to use them. I highly recommend!

My wife and I recently moved to North Carolina and were in need of service on our two HVAC units. One of my units is a Trane so I went to the Trane website to start my research. After reading a lot of reviews, I decided to give Hay’s Heating and Air Co. a call as they were listed as a Trane Comfort Specialists™.

Seems like I made the right call as we were very pleased with the company and the performance of their Technician, Jeremy Welsh. We opted for the annual contract so Jeremy performed the fall maintenance on both furnaces. He was on time, very courteous and professional. He had no problem with me watching the work and he explained the steps as he performed them. Although he was there to do the fall furnace maintenance, he opened the units’ evaporator compartments so I could have a look at the coils. As suspected, the first-floor unit’s coils were very dirty as well as the blower fan. He wrote up a recommendation to have them cleaned and returned to perform the task as I agreed to after receiving a quote from their office. The office personnel I spoke with were very nice and friendly.

Once again, Jeremy showed up on time about a week later and did a great job. I found the cost of the work performed was reasonable for HVAC maintenance. We hope to be long time customers of Hay’s Heating and Air Co and highly recommend them for anyone in need of their services.

I called Hay's around 1:00 in the afternoon on a Friday when I realized the temp in my home was going up and up even though it was running. I work from home so I did not have the luxury of going to an air conditioned office. I spoke to a representative, who was very pleasant, who said a technician would be at my home late afternoon. I was expecting to hear that there was no availability that day and that I would have to wait until Monday. By that time the temp outside was 90 degrees, if not more, and I knew that air conditioner companies are VERY busy this time of year but the rep assured me that someone would come. When the tech arrived, which was only a few hours after I called, the temp in my house was 88 degrees and I was miserable!! Shawn, who was also very nice and professional, checked out the unit in my attic and then worked on the outside unit. He replaced a part and said that my home would start to cool shortly afterward. Needless to say I was very grateful and pleasantly surprised that I was able to have a service call within a few hours on one of the hottest days AND it was a Friday! By the time I went to sleep my home was comfortably cool. I was very satisfied with the prompt and excellent service I received from Hay's.

What can I say about Hay's? The professionals who work there, from Rosemary to Jeff, the technician, are amazing people. Management is doing an outstanding job with everything. I highly recommend this company. On the recommendation of a friend, I called Hay's for my spring a/c maintenance. The service was great. The technician was pleasant and helpful. For once, I didn't feel like a heating and air company was trying to take advantage of me. Pricing was very reasonable. I will definitely use them again and will recommend them to others.

I would highly recommend this company. I had to have a complete system installed, so I did research to see exactly what ton and seer HVAC system was recommended for my size house. I had asked a few friends and co-workers who they would recommend. I got a few names and Hay's Heating and Air Conditioning was the first one I contacted. Called them late in afternoon. They had someone come first thing next morning. He crawled under house.....looked at everything, told me I would have quote by the afternoon. I received the quote that afternoon, they recommended exactly the size unit I thought I needed and at a very fair price. Didn't need to seek any additional quotes. I immediately accepted the quote and scheduled them to come. They showed up on time and in force. The entire process was done very professionally. They were courteous and polite and had patience answering my questions. My old equipment and all trash was hauled away. Could not be happier.

My experiences with Hays have always been satisfactory. My family has been working with Hays for years and have never had a problem or complaint with service. The technicians, as they arent always the same, never seem to have trouble with locating my home and have never been late. Very prompt as well as efficient, and i can say that i am completely comfortable with the technicians being inside of my home as my experiences have shown me they are professional and friendly. That is very important. When i am in need of such services there is no question of who to call because i know Hays will more than do the job, and at a rate that is decent and affordable. I like that the technicians are always knowledgeable and well equipped with the necessary tools to help with my heating and or AC needs. I always highly recommend Hays Heating and Air Conditioning to anyone who is needing services in the heating and ac field.

We got bids from five companies late last summer to replace our 15-yr old heating & AC - ranging from $7,500 to $14,000. Hays provided the clearest, most straightforward information about system options, performance, efficiency ratings, warranties and prices. It was all in writing with detailed model numbers. None of the other companies matched their level of detail and explanation. No hard sell or pressure. They weren’t the cheapest but were at the lower end since we got a discount for waiting till October to install. They showed up on time with a 3-man crew and finished in one day. Neat, courteous, professional. Over this past winter the Trane system has been a lot quieter than our old one and lowered heating bills. Very satisfied with Hay’s.
