Accu-Air was recommended to me by a friend. After a little confusion it became evident of a merging of Accu-Air and Maynor with the dropping of the Accu-Air name. After a positive conversation by phone with Jessica G, I met with JJ Brigman to address my AC needs. Their price was competitive, but the reason I chose them was, even though they are now a larger company, they apparently haven't lost that " small town " personal service. Even the installers that came out spoke as though they felt fortunate to be working for this company. I think I made the right choice; Time will tell. Roy Jones
After speaking with a few companies, I recently had my first floor HVAC unit replaced by Accu-Air. I was thoroughly impressed with their professionalism from start to finish, especially given I had a very poor customer service experience with another local company that showed me a staged picture of leaks in the heating exchange that were dramatically worse than the leaks I had.
Larry, the owner, came out to meet me personally and took the time to explain all of our options and answered all my questions. Since Accu-Air was a certified Duke Energy partner/dealer, Larry explained the benefits of going with certain systems that were accompanied by $300 rebates from Duke Energy and tax credits.
Larry's team did an excellent job installing the unit, they were on time the day they promised they would start and completed the job within a day as expected. They were very professional while they were in my home.
The final price was very competitive and Accu-Air only works with top brands like Trane and Ruud. I would highly recommend Accu-Air to anyone in the Triangle area looking for great, honest service with very competitive pricing.
Didn't show up at the scheduled time, didn't call me, didn't answer their phone, didn't have an email address, and didn't call me back. I'm going to be scraping their stickers off my HVAC system and replacing them with someone else's.
UPDATE: Frustrated to read the response below, which is disingenuous at best. I obviously gave my phone number when I made the appointment; they just couldn't find it. I'm fine with them canceling due to weather, but failing to contact me is what's unacceptable, and I'm don't appreciate the implication that I'm being unreasonable. "I'm sorry you feel that way" isn't a real apology, it's passive-aggressive and unprofessional.
Accu-Air spent 6 1/2 hours at my house trying to figure out why my heat did not work correctly and then the owner told me they still did not know what was wrong with it. Another HVAC company fixed it in less than an hour. I would not recommend Accu-Air based on my experience.
Brilliant! Customer service is perfect, costs are reasonable, nobody gives you phony information about the condition of your current equipment, and their advice regarding improving performance or purchasing new equipment is spot-on. Bravo!
Great company and great group of employees. They installed a new AC Unit and gas furnace in our home. Very professional and thorough. Would recommend them highly to anyone!
I have been very pleased with the service we've received from Accu-Air, especially keeping our aging-but-still-works-well Apollo Hydro Heat System going.....
I've recommended AA to several new neighbors, knowing that most other HVAC contractors will recommend (expensive) total replacement of those systems, when periodic maintenance by qualified professionals will keep them running efficiently for a good, long while.
The a/c unit broke down recently (over a weekend to boot...) and even though it was on a Saturday, during one of the worst early heat waves ever, Accu-Air was on the scene in just a few hours, was able to procure the part my system needed and we were back up again and running, ready to face even more 100F+ that came in the days ahead.
