Nick, Sales person very knowledgable. Office staff courtious and effcient. Installers friendly, knowledgable , on time, respectful, neat. Second unit we had installed by Rotterdam heating. Would recommend them without a second thought. Kudos to Rotterdam Heating staff members across the board.

I had some AC issues that couldn't be fixed. Nick came and gave a fair quote for new AC and furnace. Workers removed and installed new AC and furnace with little interference to daily activities. Horrible experience. Had heating system along with air conditioner installed two weeks ago. The work was suppose to last two days on the install . The workers went very quick . We feel they rushed through everything. They turned off our gas fireplace off to connect the gas furnace which we are aware that this must be done. We have a automatic pilot for our fireplace. Kyle was so nice to arrange our logs that the flame goes straight up. We are now having the maintenance people at Best Fire come and clean and rearrange the logs. On Tuesday we were without heat. The service rep from Rotterdam (Mike) came out and rigged the system. He said the installers install the wrong thermostat and he would be back tomorrow to install the correct thermostat (Wednesday). I stayed home for the day and worked out of the house, no call, no show. I called the office and they apologized for the mix up. Things happen. They set a new appointment for Friday , last appointment of the day , still waiting. I called the office Friday night . Mike called back Friday night and set an appointment at 8am Saturday. (today Halloween).No show , No call.....Nice to see how they stand by there work.. I called the office today and asked to speak to the owner. I realize people are busy and there closed today but were Still waiting.

I would give this company zero stars but that's not an option here. Rotterdam heating would love u to buy a furnace for 3,000 dollars but when the day came that our furnace didn't turn on they refused to do an emergency call to our home!! It was single digits with the wind chill!!! They sure want your money but when it comes to treating their customers' right, they have failed completely. Had a kind gentleman that was recommended by Peak n Son Oil, our oil man. This man was at our door in less than 30 minutes!!!......and he did not even know us!!! I own a large residential home with zone heating and radiator heat throughout. 10 years ago when we moved into the home we needed to replace an old cast iron converted coal to oil boiler. Despite the massive casting wall thickness, the boiler walls had deteriorated to nearly nothing.

We contacted Rotterdam Heating and they sent an expert technician to analyse size and recommend a replacement boiler for our house. The size and complicated zone heating severly limited the availability of commercially available residential boilers that
could effectively replace the boiler in our heating system. Nick recommended an energy efficient Carrier Boiler that perfectly met our needs. Nick was extremely knowledgeable and professional. While there are several companies in our area that posess knowledgeable professionals, there are many companies that would have tried to sell me a cheaper undersized less effeicient boiler that would have been problematic. The subsequent maintenance and service has been excellent. I have and will continue to use Rotterdam to keep my heating system operating at its optimum.

Great service friendly and extremely knowledgeable technicians. First they installed a complete house heating and air conditioning system. I had to complete some work around the house so I had them remove the air Conditioning unit and reinstall it. They responded quickly to our needs. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

just had a hot water tanked installed yesterday. Can't express enough how delighted I was as to how efficient, courteous and knowledgeable
the installer was as he installed my tank and the short period of time in which he did so. Refreshing to see good and honest people are still out there. I have already recommended you to other people. thank you.

Got a quote from Nick of Rotterdam heating and cooling in 2018 for residential A/c. Nick gave several options. Also mentioned when installed during winter the savings on installation charges. Rotterdam staff installed in Winter and came for a tune up in summer. Did a great job!

Have had Jamey do various jobs for me for the past few years including servicing my air conditioners and generator. He has always been prompt, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him.

DONT USE THIS COMPANY! They came for a cleaning and yearly maintenance, which we thought was fine. Until 36 hours later the igniter broke, they deemed the issue not caused by the first visit so another $150 service charge and charge for new igniter.

NOW. 3 weeks later my pump for the humidifier has been leaking, so I called 2 other companies and they said it needs to be replaced.

This company should be avoided at all costs. All they want is your money and do not stand by any of their services.
