On time professional services...been using for 16 years on multiple properties and never had a problem.

I needed asbestos removed and a new boiler installed. Of the 3 companies I called to get estimates, Rotterdam Heating was the only one that showed up on time. Nick took the time to check out what the job would entail and his estimate was detailed and reasonable. Workers arrived on time, installation was completed in one day and left everything clean. I found everyone from this company to be very friendly and professional and would not hesitate to call them again.

We recently used Rotterdam Heating & Air for the installation of a gas line and hook-up to our pool heater. Nick came out and took his time to come up with a "plan a" " plan b" installation option because our install required them to work around existing construction. He took time to explain both plans, and the "whys" about each. He was prompt, professional, and came out the day of installation to make sure all was going well. Also, the office staff was great about getting appointments and installation dates set. They called when the techs were on their way, and followed up a few days after to make sure we were satisfied with the job they did.

Average company. Doesn’t get too involved into heating and cooling just the surface work. A bit pricey for to me. $75 to change a thermostat is a bit much with just the 2 wires to install.

Last October, I had Rotterdam Heating and Cooling remove my old furnace and install my new one. They hooked up the connection for the Propane company, as well. The installers were very professional and stuck right to the plan. I have no idea how they got that old furnace out but they did and this is the first winter in over 12 years that I had even heat throughout my house . I used to cough all of the time and have't coughed once since the installation. They also gave me a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this company and all of the staff. The team at Rotterdam Heating and Air Conditioning did a great job for our family-Ron, Josh and Devon were professional and courteous when coming to our home during the pandemic. They are very knowledgeable and got everything up and running quickly. They were interactive with my kids and let them "help".
Joann and Dave were very helpful and welcoming, as well. They make you feel like you are talking to relatives!
No one wants to have to get a new AC/furnace-but when you have to, it is nice to be treated with respect and be given a fair price. Definitely using them again for anything that may come up in the future.

We’ve used Rotterdam Heating and AC for two separate installations over the past year. Once for a new gas furnace and more recently for a new central AC unit. Our salesman, Nick, was very professional and followed up asking if there were any issues or concerns. There were none and we couldn’t be happier. The installers showed up on time, were friendly and professional. We highly recommend using Rotterdam Heating and AC.

Rotterdam Heating and AC has been great for both times we used them. First was for a full boiler and AC replacement. The second was for a tankless hot water heater. Both installs went absolutley perfectly. On time, high quality, friendly service for high value. Thanks to the team for everything.

11 months ago I reviewed this company and gave them 5 stars, now I give them 1 star because of how they have treated me after the initial installation. To put it bluntly, they lied to me. My contract reads 12 years parts and 12 years labor on repairs. I have documentation in our e-mails saying that this extra 12 years labor would be about $500 more than if it was not included. I chose to pay the extra "insurance" for a Mfg. labor warranty. When I register the equipment with the Mfg. I am told there is only a 1 year labor warranty. I call, e-mail and msg. Rotterdam HVAC to resolve this. At first they swear that I have a full 12 year labor warranty and they would fix this. Then they began to ignore me. No 12 year labor warranty as contracted and paid for; no refund; no offer to make good on their promise. Not even an apology. Shame on this and other dishonest companies.

My air conditioner unit broke in the middle of the summer. Luckily, Rotterdam Heating & Air Conditioning was able to schedule an appointment quickly to provide an estimate and replace it. The technicians were very helpful and friendly with explaining how the system worked and how to properly maintain it for the years to come. Definitely plan to continue using them for my air conditioning and heating needs.
