Rotterdam Heating & Air Conditioning

We were in the market for a central air conditioning system, because the window units were getting to heavy for me to carry up from the cellar. I shopped around and found Rotterdam Heating & Air conditioning to be the dealer of choice.
Jamie came to the house and provided me with a quote for an A/C system and at that time he suggested that I replace the furnace as well. (My furnace was 38 years old). He provided me with a quote for both the A/C system and the furnace. We thought the price was very reasonable and excepted his offer. He was very pleasant to talk to, answered all my questions, and promptly set up an installation date. 6/6/18
The installers Shawn and Mike came right on time. I must say that they were very professional about their job. TOP-NOTCH in my opinion! They removed my old furnace and installed the new furnace and a/c unit the first day, then came back the second day to finish hooking it up. They did an excellent job installing a Goodman A/C unit and Furnace system which appears to be of very good quality, it is very quiet, does a great job on cooling our house at a very reasonable price.

I am writing to let everyone know how impressed I was with the service that Rotterdam Heating and Cooling provided in the recent installation of a Carrier ductless air conditioning system. The quality of the installation and cost were of paramount importance to me and their high standards on both items were met. Their skilled employees (Nick, Henry & Alex) treat their customer's right. I utilized Rotterdam & Cooling two years ago as well to replace my aging boiler and was sold on this exceptional company back then. Thank you, again!

Terrible, contacted them for a service call because our AC wasn't working properly. The serviceman came, took a picture of the manufacturer label, told my wife "it was old and replacement parts were not available." While on speakerphone said he could only replace what was there with what was there originally, when asked what he would do if it were his he said replace it he would replace it and he set us up with a salesman, and gave us a bill for $177.12. I called the office a few days later explaining I didn't feel a charge was warranted because he didn't do anything, the woman said someone would call me to "see what they could do." The man who did the "service" called and told me he performed a full service visit, i said he didn't even remove the cover and clean the filter or anything with the outside unit, he said he did i told him "my wife was there the entire time and he did not" i asked why he didn't look at the outside unit and he said he did I asked if he looked inside the unit for nesting critters he said "that's where all the computer components are we don't take the covers off, i checked the unit for algee" I told him i believed the complaint was falling on deaf ears and told him to have a good weekend and hung up. All around a service disgrace.

Jamey and his team did a great job installing my new mini-split system. They arrived when they said they would, explained the system and were professional the whole time they were there. Would definitely recommend.

Rotterdam Installed my Carrier furnace, the job they did looks very professional and no issues with the intallation to date. I had a few estimates for furnaces and Rotterdam HVAC seemed to have been the best value. Also, Carrier furnaces rate very well with Consumer Reports.

Kenny came for my service call, he was very friendly, and didn’t mind me asking questions and watching. He found the problem and fixed it. He also gave me some helpful and appreciated info on the maintenance of the central air humidifier. Thank you Kenny

From the initial site visit with Nick to the installation, the whole process was seamless. Nick was very responsive to any questions we had about the proposal and scope of work. On the day of install, the techs, Mike and Al, showed up on time and kept us informed of exactly what they were doing. They were awesome and always cleaned up after themselves.
Will definitely be a repeat customer!

My steam heat furnace died during the winter months. I got a good estimate from Nick. The guys came out removed the old, heavy furnace and replaced with a new, lightweight, energy efficient one. They installed it, fired it up and even waited to see if all of my radiators were heating up. My house was back to being toasty.

There is one pipe that is extra old and rusted as this is an old house that I will definitely have them come replace.
