Arctic Mechanical

on 9/9/20 Artic Mechanical replaced my 14 year old 100K HVAC system as previously scheduled. The components they replaced consisted of the condenser, the furnace and the coils. The technicians showed up exactly on time, prepared the area for work including drop cloths etc and commenced operation after informing us of our temporary loss of utilities . all old fixtures were disconnected and hauled away and the new components were installed and working by 4:00 PM as estimated at the outset. The technicians were professional, efficient and courteous informing us of their progress as they went. all debris was removed and no damage to our existing structure. We were very pleased with our new system which is functioning properly.

Let me start off by saying I’ve had experience with A LOT of HVAC companies in both Westchester and Fairfield County… you name the company and I’ve probably used them for something. However, my experience with Arctic Mechanical surpasses any company I’ve ever worked with and my only regret is not finding out about Arctic sooner. These past few days I had the pleasure of working with Arctic Mechanical. I just recently moved to Greenwich and the house we bought had old ductless systems installed. They were working but not efficiently and we decided to switch them to a newer Mitsubishi model. I contacted Arctic and they got back to me very quickly. I made an appointment with Brian and he met with us the next day and went over everything. He was extremely knowledgable and had a great attitude. Their estimate was extremely fair and he fit us into the schedule within a few days. Yesterday was the first day of installation and today they completed the job. The installers were super professional, friendly and did an amazing job. Manny and Geronimo were also VERY patient and took the time to explain everything to me and show me exactly what they did. You can tell these guys take pride in what they do and are great at it. I highly recommend them for any heating/cooling needs. I am so glad I found them. Usually I dread anything HVAC related but I am so grateful they have made this experience so easy! Customer service, price and skills are unbeatable. Thank you for everything. Our heater went out unexpectedly just as an extreme cold snap was forecast for later in the week. Arctic Mechanical found time on its schedule to come out the next day, and when they discovered we needed replacement parts, procured them and completed the job less than 48 hours after our initial call. A company we'd used previously had told us they couldn't even come to diagnose issue until the following week.

Great experience. Mark and Craig run a great shop. Referred to me by a friend for a full HVAC system replacement. Very professional and job was done right by very experienced crew.

Edward and Sam installed a new 75 gallon hot water heater in my residence. They came prepared, did a professional job and left the work area clean. They are very pleasant chaps and are very proficient at what they do. Five stars!

Mark and his team are amazing! They go above and beyond to endure great service and great pricing. I had a new born baby a few years ago and my heat went out and I called mark on his personal cell phone at 3am. He came over himself and got my heat working for me within 2 hours. They go above and beyond!!

The following day the technician from the Arctic Mechanical performed the "Pressure Test" on Lennox air conditioning system and found a large leak in the Evaporator Coil. Arctic Mechanical will get a new coil (which is under warranty} from Lennox and repair the air conditioning system. Arctic Mechanical is taking corrective action.

I was looking to have my AC unit serviced, the technician came out gave me a diagnostic; of course his recommendation was to purchase an entirely new unit that they will install (understandable they want to make money). However, once the technician left the AC unit that he was checking began to work, but only on the top two floors; but not the lower floors. Apparently whatever he did caused the blower for the first floor and basement to stop working all together. When it was working prior to that just fine! All I requested was for them to come back out to see why it wasn’t working after that portion of the system has been working. No, they’d rather me pay 5k+ for a new unit! The world we live in. I already paid for the service appointment, and the technician didn’t even realize or ask if I had multiple units, which I do!!. The worse response I’ve ever received for a costumer complaint. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
