Mazgan Air Conditioning & Heating Repair

Our HVAC unit was completely taken out by the winter storm that hit NYC on January 28, 2022. Mazgan came the next day to assess the situation (during the storm). Mazgan had to dig deep for this one. The manufacturer of the broken unit (Sanyo) was no longer in business, as it was purchased by Panasonic, and Panasonic no longer supported it. And while Panasonic did have recommended replacement units, they were not for sale in the US. Mazgan figured all of this out and was able to procure the replacement units and deliver to the US. Mazgan then handled the difficult process of removing the roof and ceiling units from our apartment and installing the new units, which was no easy job given the limited amount of space and complicated ducting. Happy to say we have both our Heat and A/C back on line and working better than ever. Thanks to Mazgan's team for the extra effort on this one: Wes, Jason, Josh, and Mark.

MAZGAN removed and replaced a defective section of duct that another contractor had previously installed. The entire project was completed in half a day. Mark was extremely knowledgeable and spent considerable time discussing various options to improve the performance of our system

I evaluated 3 HVAC companies to check and eventually replace a leaking compressor. I will not lie, the unit that Mazgan recommended was the most expensive, but I chose them over the others because Mark (owner) and the front office was the most responsive; the crew themselves were professional, on-time, thorough and diligent; and the unit itself had the longest warranty (including a 6 year replacement warranty). Mark stressed that integrity of the work was the most important thing - and I appreciated that candor. And just to show that I really did do my homework, two neighbors in my building also used Mazgan to replace their compressors and they also recommended them highly. (Now I'll convince myself that I can justify the higher cost by amortizing it over the next few years until we sell our condo for profit )

We are very glad to have Mazgan technicians repair our Fujitsu ductless AC system. Mark was very patient in explaining the repair process and the potential costs. Repairing ductless AC is costly, but at least I was made aware of that at the beginning. We would like to give high credits to Yakov Who did an excellent repair job. He was very nice and highly professional. I don't think their receptionist does a good job though, so be prepared for some rescheduling.

Zaki was great; thorough, professional, and a pleasure to work with. Minus 1 star because I did not have a good experience with the scheduling office. I had to initiate follow-ups and scheduling- poor customer service.

This was a long process starting from the diagnosis of our split multi zone a/c system that revealed one leaking air handler. With that diagnosis they proceeded to replace / install / hookup a new air handler. Zak was very professional and thorough.

I wasn’t too clear on the gravity of the situation. Once understood, Mark was on it! The on-site technician was in constant contact and they figured out the problem quickly and efficiently. We have used Mazgan before. We are customers for life. Thanks.

Zak did a great job. Very knowledgeable on Navien as well as general hydronic heating systems.

Highly recommend Mazgan and their tech Luis for HVAC maintenance. When I called and heard the maintenance price I hesitated thinking it was too expensive. But after the service I assure you it is worth it. I don't mind paying for quality. Luis was professional, he answered my questions and looked thoroughly at my a/c system. He recommended where cleaning was most important and took his time to do a thorough job. My 10-year old a/c unit looks brand new! and blows colder and better smelling air!! Take care of your a/c with Mazgan and Luis and you won't be sorry.
