Replaced sink disposal unit; on time, new unit works well, no problems

We had Dolan do two jobs at my Dad's house in Piscataway. First we updated the bathroom which involved changing some of the drains and other plumbing. Next a new furnace. In each case they sent in a whole crew. They were knowledgeable, neat, timely and hard working. I plan to have Dolan replace his AC system soon. Oh and their pricing beat a large retailer. Very professional work!

I have been a heating and A C customer for three years. They are usually very responsive and do fine work. When you call you get a live person who is on top of the business and delivers results in one call. Very nice! They know my community well. Money is saved by signing a one year agreement for service. Not the least expensive but you can trust their work.

Technicians were great, helpful, and worked efficiently. I solely work in customer service/service positions, so it takes a lot to get me to push any issues.

My issue with the service we had today was this- our ceiling light fixture in the bathroom they were working on was dropped by accident, coming crashing down. We were alarmed at the sound, but heard them say that only a lightbulb was broken (not to us, to each other). We found it odd that this was not explained to us but we trusted that everything was ok. Instead of ever apologizing for dropping the fixture, breaking the bulb, or the possibility of some glass left behind (which we assumed and also they told us) it was never actually addressed. I found this odd and unprofessional to do. If this happened to a customer of mine I would immediately explain what happened on principle. Instead we got “you might wanna get a new bulb and vacuum the rug.” Accidents happen, but where is the decency?

We called to tell them that there was indeed much more glass found on the floor- (we have pets, so this was extra alarming) and asked why we were never offered anything off the service or acknowledgment of any kind. The staff was rude as hell. They misunderstood us and acted like we said the techs never told us it fell or broke. Instead of ANYONE at this place simply offering acknowledgement, it was 100% defensive remarks. Where is the harm in being respectful, even if you arent clear on the issue yet? I finally got a (reluctant) apology at the very end.

A few bucks doesnt matter- integrity matters. I wish this didnt happen, because they do fine work and prices are fair.

Dave, the technician who came to fix my heating problem was prompt, courteous, thorough and very informative. In addition, Dolan's receptionist was very responsive when I told her that I was about to leave on vacation and needed almost immediate attention. Thank you Dolan and Kudos to your excellent staff.

My first contact with Dolan, Inc. was when I had water in my basement, and I needed to have a sump pump installed right away. A Dolan crew responded immediately, and in the pouring rain put in the needed pump. For many years since then, Dolan, Inc. has taken care of my heating and air conditioning systems. Moreover, Dolan, Inc. has remodeled my two bathrooms and installed a lavatory in the basement. Those rooms are really attractive. I described one bathroom as "fit for a Roman emperor" when I saw the finished product. The office staff and the technicians are always ready to help customers and are thoroughly agreeable. A business is as good as its workers; the workers represent the company. Edwin and Ben are professional and they know their trade. I had new countertops put in along with a new sink and faucet.
The guys did all the plumbing and repairs during installation. Other contractors ask you to call a plumber which just adds to the cost and incurs delays. Dolan did a great job. If you use them for a big project, ask Terry about the discount coupons that are NOT in the Money Mailer or Clipper packets!

This is a great company. you are very neat and very crafty with your work. Not only are you honest and reliable, you job speaks volume about your company. I have used Jack Dolan & Sons for years. I do not agree with the negative comments.
Last year I had 2 other companies come to unclog a pipe and they couldn't do it right. Dolan corrected it first try.
Their work is quality, with quality products. I have never experienced less than good service.
