I had a great experience with Fresh Air Flow! Since I’ve been in my house I’ve intermittently smelled mold coming from the vents. I have an allergy to mold and dust so have gotten the HVAC system cleaned and sanitized before, but Ben Marga and his team provided a thorough cleaning in which they removed the vent/return covers throughout the main floor and basement, and cleaned inside the HVAC unit, making sure to sanitize the evaporator coil. To deal with the mold issue longterm Ben installed a UV light. I was skeptical about this pricey solution, but after walking around my house with a mask for days in an effort to mitigate the sore throat, nose, and watery eyes caused by inhaling mold, I was willing to try. Within 2 hours of the installation I noticed a change in symptoms. Three weeks have passed and I’m still breathing easy!

After such a good experience, I requested the installation of a whole-house humidifier, as the one I had was 30 years old and non-functioning, creating excess static electricity throughout the house. I noticed a gap in the tubing from the humidifier and Ben sent someone out quickly to fix the issue. Everything is working well now.

I highly recommend you choose Ben and his team to address your HVAC issues. He has integrity, is very knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain options thoroughly. When you have someone working on such a critical piece of your home’s infrastructure, this is exactly what you want.

We had Greg out to our house to service our heater. What a gift. Greg was knowledgeable, pleasant, and everything else you could want in a service person. He was very methodical and thorough in his assessment of the heating system. He answered all questions, was efficient and was very responsible regarding COVID precautions. I can’t say enough good words about these guys! Ben came out and quoted a job that no one else would tackle. We have been fighting a duct condensation problem for a long time and has caused damage to our ceiling year after year. With a temporary fix each year we knew we had to move the dryer duct away from our AC duct. Joe and team moved the dryer to our garage area and reran all new lines and duct work. Joe went over and above to check his work and the others that helped with him. They were professional, explained everything in detail, and did an outstanding job! My only regret is not finding them sooner! Thanks guys!

Today I had my home’s ducts and vents cleaned by Fresh Air Flow. The entire time, the two men here were very pushy and tried to convince me to buy a UV filter for my vents without giving me a chance to do my own research. I understand that part of their job must be from sales, but they made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe with the way they were speaking to me.

Their sales tactics included rudely yelling to each other that I was not taking their “sincere advice” while I was in another room, in efforts to get my attention. My husband is a literal biochem engineer who does research for a living, so of course we would do research before investing $899; it would not be a spur of the moment decision for us. One of the workers even said he wanted me to call my husband because he wanted to talk to him about it before I mentioned that I had already talked to my husband and we were declining the install. In what world would I hand over my phone to this stranger to talk to my husband? It was incredibly disrespectful. After declining, the workers wanted almost nothing to do with talking to me as they worked.

When putting our vent covers back on, the worker was loudly exasperating about how difficult it was. When my husband came home, we had to unscrew and flip each vent because the worker had put them back on upside down. When we took the vent covers off, my husband noted that there was a lot of debris left outside the ducts that the workers had not cleaned up afterwards. It was an extremely disappointing experience and the only reason I am giving two stars is because they were kind to my dog who got spooked at first and did clean the ducts.

Ps: After further research, we learned that UV lights in ducts require yearly maintenance and can damage your ducts in the long term. This was obviously a plow to get continual service from them.

Service was great!!!! Step by step they explained everything they were doing and I was kept in the loop throughout the entire process!!! They were great!! And their prices are amazing! Will be using again and again for all my heating maintenance hvac needs
