The Hollywood Air technician, Alexander, went into our attic and found that the heater (furnace) ignitor was not working properly. He removed and replaced the ignitor quickly, then he checked the outlets to verify that heat was coming out of the vents. He was very efficient and luckily he had the replacement parts in his work van.

The system required replacement of a part. The technician, Alexander searched his vehicle for the part. Unfortunately, the part did not fit. Alexander explained that it would part would take up to two days to secure the part before the repair could be completed. Within a 2-day period, Alexander returned with the part and completed the repair within minutes.

They answered the phone, when no other places would. They answered on a Holiday weekend no less. Made service check within 1 hr. They considerate team sent update regarding process of the tech to our home. Nice and polite. All most MIDNIGHT at he did a thorough diagostic and repair/ replacement. Even provided maintenance and preventative advisor. Their system sent out invoice and payment confirmation. TOP TIER SERVICE!

Let me start by saying the coordinator who was my point of contact was very pleasant and professional. The problem started the day of service with the technician.

I was given a window between 9AM - 12PM for Saturday 8/20. I called the company at 11:30AM and asked if they were still coming. I was informed they would be here between 2 - 3PM after the coordinator contacted the technician. The tech obviously did not value my time to give me a heads up and waited until I called them when my original time window was almost closed. When the technician did show up at 2:30PM he was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. There was a mechanical issue with one of my units and an airflow issue in other parts of the home. This was a home warranty claim and when I spoke with the tech about their services I asked him to look at ONE unit as the airflow issue in the other zone was NOT mechanical and not in their scope. After I tried to explain the issue several times while being interrupted, I left him to go look at the unit outside. He came back in, let me know of the issue he found, said he would contact the warranty company, and proceeded to ask to check the 2nd unit. I explained again that it was NOT a mechanical issue with the unit itself, but an airflow issue which was not in his scope. He said he'd check anyway for me, and then explained he would write a report on the AC that actually had issues and contact me to schedule a time to fix it. He left the door to my home open along with the gate to my yard open and my dog got out.

Then I get a call from Hollywood Air saying I need to file an additional claim because the report he wrote was on the AC without issues that I asked him NOT to look at before he insisted. Trying to bill the warranty company twice, he intentionally neglected to write the report on the AC that actually had the issue as I explained it. VERY unprofessional company.
