I had one of my AC units go out at 9:00 pm one evening and had a recommendation to give Cal Air a call. To my surprise, being that it was late in the evening, I was able to book an appointment for the next day. The technician showed up at the scheduled time and was able to diagnose, then repair the unit quickly. Great customer service and professionalism from everyone I interacted with at Cal Air. I will definitely be using them again in the future for all AC/Heating needs.
It great to have a company that still does a good job and in a timely manner. That seems to be a big problems with a lot of companies now. No customer service but Cal Air has always come through with great customer service I had Service Tech Vincent M. He was great to work with even changed out my filters after checking out my unit.
My upstairs unit decided to die on us. I had another company come out to look at it and they informed me that we needed a new unit and furnace coil. After seeing that companies finance options and crazy interest rates, I decided to call CalAir as I know one of the technicians. Vincent came out and was on time and very informative about what was needed. He was also honest about the possible lead time as they were having supply chain issues, however we were able to get our unit within the week. Their financing options are great and I was able to get a better unit with the same warranty for less than I would have paid with the original company I called out.
My downstairs AC stopped working and I have a 8 month old in the house and needed quick repair. Cal air responded within 20 minutes and have a technician out within the same day. He checked all wires and attic turns out we accidentally switched the power to unit off. Instead of over charging they only charged the service fee of 49.00. Definitely recommend and won’t rip you off on prices!
Alberto was absolutely fantastic! I contacted him after another company was already at my house and tried billing me over $1300. It turns out the other company mis-diagnosed the problem and Alberto was able to correct the problem for less than $150. He was straight forward, honest and explained the issue in plain terms that anyone could understand. I’ll never use anyone else. Thank you Alberto and Cal Air!
My family and I have called Cal Air for well over 10 years and not once been disappointed with the outstanding friendly service, on time (usually early) and honest techs. The office staff is always awesome too. We even have them do services at my office. 10 out of 10 for this company!!
Fantastic service, from the receptionist answering the phone to the service and install of new A/C units by qualified technicians. I have referred them to other people who say that the service and prices are great. They are an honest company as well and won't try to upsell you on something you don't need. Very responsive to service calls, getting to you now, instead of a week later.
As a follow up to my earlier post, this company simply refuses to act responsibly and provide documentation of their installation. The office will not allow you to speak with the owner, and the owner should know how is folks are letting him or her down. It's not clear whether it's just poor management and communication or dishonesty. It's been confirmed by both Carrier and the other Carrier authorized service company, Sunrise Services, that the system that Cal Air installed is NOT what they had represented despite Cal Air's own statements in writing. They first installed a lesser unit and it took them a week to acknowledge that and come back out. Then they damaged the compressor on installation and continue to state that they installed a unit with a variable fan motor when it's been proven unquestionably that this is not the case. All they should do is fess up, fix the problem, and we can move on. But no.
It was a positive experience getting an estimate from Cal Air for a replacement system for my heating and cooling needs. The office staff was polite and worked me into the schedule right away. Orlando arrived within the designated time block and gave clear descriptions for some of the technical questions I had. I do think they offer a solid product and should be included in one's research when choosing a company to install a new heating/cooling system.
Thank you for servicing our home. And thank you for realizing our dog barks when knocking and you decided to go through the back when arrived the second time. She was calm the entire time you were here which makes a great difference for us. I appreciate your team.
