Welsch Heating & Cooling

Our 25yo furnace cracked a heat exchanger on one of the coldest days of the year. My regular HVAC guy was not able to do in install for over a week, so I called around to several companies, eventually getting to Welsch. After a great phone consultation, Denny was able to come out the next day to get measurements, talk through options, and explain the process. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and completely honest in his assessment of our situation. He not only recommended several systems of varying efficiencies and cost, but also pointed out some issues where our air intake was not sized correctly, causing some overall issues in our HVAC system. He helped ensure that we were going to have the ideal setup for our house and made certain we understood his recommendations fully. The installers were out the next day (on a Saturday), and were extremely professional. They had our whole new system installed in a few hours, and made sure that we knew how to operate it.

In summary, I couldn't be more pleased with the service that we received from Welsch. From the initial phone and in-person consultation, to the installation, to working with the office folks after the install, everyone went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience and our HVAC issues resolved. I would happily recommend Welsch, and will be using them in the future for our HVAC service needs.

Rich came out to our house two days in a row to fix our AC. We called welsch after getting a bid from Jerry Kelly in which they insisted we needed to replace everything and put in new return vents. Rich came in and cleaned out the inside of our unit and now she works like a charm! We are newlyweds and just moved into our house two weeks ago and Rich literally saved us thousands. If you want an AC repairman who is honest and truly cares about providing the customer with the best service without trying to sell you more than you need, Rich Batchelder is your guy! We will definitely be using Welsch in the future and Rich is who we will be asking for.

I have been using Welsh Heating & Cooling for 20 years for a reason, they provide excellent customer service and quality. After two homes and 20 years of working them, they always exceed expectations on customer services and quality. I have worked with 3 other HVAC companies and can't beat Welsch.

I have been doing business with Welsch since 1999, they are a union shop and that id demonstrated in their service charge calls and labor rates. An acquaintance of mine was employed their in 1999 and when I bought my house I worked a deal with the seller and received X amount of $'s from him and with a decent discount I was able to to get a fair deal on a Lennox furnace and condensing unit. Welsh does good work, are available 24/7 for service calls, but with HVAC brick & mortar companies they are bit pricey!

Had a new HVAC installed. Everyone was friendly and prompt. Excellent craftsmanship. Good price. I had a question, months later, about a sound I was hearing, they sent a technician out who explained how the new technology worked at no charge.

We had two AC installs - one air handler in the attic and one in the basement. James, Eric and Doug arrived on time, were very easy to work with and cleaned up when they left. They got both units done in the same day and there were no surprises along the way. I'd definitely recommend Welsch for a new system or for ongoing system maintenance - we've used them for both for 15 years. Thanks, Guys!

Nice guys but really unfortunate that they came to do a quick eval (maybe were at my home for a total of 20 minutes) for my heating system and then charged me $95 for it. Just be careful and ask about any fees up front. They did not disclose to me that they were going to charge me prior to coming over or I would not have agreed to it. I've had other opinions from heating/cooling specialists that did not charge for an estimate.

My experience so far has been excellent, the Service tech Steven has been professional and personable. Ritch came out after getting the parts in and again amazing service. I work in Information technology specifically supporting data centers and Im totally impressed with the wealth of knowledge and experience brought to bear by the folks at Welsch. My next project will definitely have Welsch involvement.

This is the very best experience I have had with an HVAC company ever. Rich Batchelder was efficient, kind and fixed the problem in 28 minutes! The best part is how much he loves his company and the owner. Thats says everything!
