Welsch is super to deal with and really knows what they are doing. Responds immediately to any HVAC service or other calls we have made over the years and their people always arrive on time and are super to deal with when they arrive and very thorough. They maintain our home air conditioner and furnace systems on an annual basis and when we have had anything go wrong with the air conditioner or furnace, they went overboard in honoring warranties for new parts or repairs.
Wow. Brian C. gave us top rated service today. His problem-solving skills were spot on and he stuck to the issue and resolved it quickly. As far as value for the charges - was very happy to know that he was not trying to over-sell us on something that wasn't real. And, he was a nice guy on top of his professionalism. If I have a need again, would definitely be happy to see him show up at the door for help.
Dan and James were both very courteous and professional. They did an excellent job installing my new HVAC and even made sure I understood how the new system works and what I need to do to maintain it. I highly recommend Welsch for any and all HVAC needs !
I have been with Welsch since they installed my system 9 years ago. Brian C was very helpful in not only taking care of the maintenance needs of my 3 systems, but also advised me about possible upgrades that can save me money in the long run. I would highly recommend Welsch.
I've had this place highly recommended to me, but never returned my inquiry, and when I followed up they said they weren't taking anyone new and sent me on my way. Kudos for being honest at least.
UPDATED BELOW: I prepaid for seasonal service, but they can't make it out without a six-week lead time. Typically, when I prepay for service packages it comes with extra service and benefits of committing my financial support to the business. In this case, I would have had better luck not prepaying and just calling and saying "my furnace isn't working can you come look at it ASAP." So in a addition to holding my money for much of the year, Welsch triages me to the back of the line. This seems really backward to me. UPDATE: About four minutes after this post Denise called and fixed me up--thank you for fixing this! If only all businesses were so proactive . . .
David, their service man, came to the location with a HORRIBLE attitude before even looking at the job right at the outset. Although this system was on the roof of an apartment building (as are many commercial buildings), and the company was told this prior to even scheduling, and the service was scheduled at first thing in the am to avoid heat to the service man, this person simply refused to go on the roof, left the job, offered no solution, and left the tenant in a hot setting. He made no attempt to even try fixing the unit or make any suggestions as to another company. I had attempted to call this company because the company I usually use was booked and this was an emergency prior to a hot day. Furthermore, it is a normal setting that many individuals have accessed over the years so is not a strange set-up. I will never use this company again.
If I could give less than one star I would. The tech that came to our house for a "routine" ac maintenance check was very friendly. However he told me and my daughter, at one point, he had to run the water. My daughter commented that it sounded like it was coming from inside the house. Well unbeknownst to us it was. Their tech had opened the wrong water valve, above our home business desk, and flooded the entire work station. The tech left almost immediately after this saying nothing. We called them and a rep. (I want to say Betty but not sure) said that Paul Heimann would be contacting us the next day. We reported everything to Mr. Heimann including all photo documentation and a list of all damaged items (with proof of our purchases of said items and a list of costs). Mind you we didn't get into the costs we incurred for loss of business for our entire operation being shut down. Mr. Heimann originally told us that his insurance company would be contacting us and when we asked for the contact info he would not give it to us. Mr. Heimann then told us they would submit everything to their insurance and get back to us. Now it's been 2 weeks since last contact and they are not returning our calls. Do the right thing Mr. Heimann, like you said you would.
Welsch saved us more than $3000 fixing a furnace that isn't very old, after another contractor told us it couldn't be fixed. They showed us exactly what was wrong and fixed it fast. 6 months later it's still working as good as new. We could not be happier.
Our daughter’s AC went out and then two hours later ours went out. Josh from Welsch heating and cooling saved the day for all! Josh was professional, articulate, very kind and committed to ensure our problem was solved. Thank you Josh for saving the day as well as your commitment to excellent customer service.
