The technician was friendly and professional.
He wore a face mask in our exchange about the problem
with the AC. A capacitor was replaced and coolant replenished.
The AC cools as it should on these hot August days.
Balance Point Heating and Cooling was able to arrange
service on the same day I requested my problem. Good job!!

This is my first encounter with Balance point and I simply cannot imagine a more organized, courteous, competent, and price conscious group of people than Justin and his workers.
I am a 71 year old retired electrical engineer. I am not a HVAC expert but do have the education to understand the underlying principles of this equipment and have experience with design and implementation of electrical equipment. By default, I oversee some of the repairs at our church.
We have 7 furnace/AC's in our church. I have been monitoring them for over 5 years because I noticed that some of the repairs made to our largest unit had to be repeated. Expensive parts were replaced without determining the root cause.
I felt that Balance Point personal were very competent because they were willing to let me watch and explain to me everything they did. I was impressed that they placed the TXV (expansion valve) on the outside of the evaporator housing. They also added cool weather shutoffs to avoid freeze up if the AC is turned on with the outside temperature is below 50.
Do I need to say that they will be the company I call for my home AC?
