    We used Climate King due to our Home Warranty. It took 26 days to get our unit installed. Our house reached over 100 degrees and was unbearable. Especially when you have medical issues!! When the technicians arrived on day one, we were told that we did not need any additional modifications. We asked specifically because they slapped me with an $1800 modification bill when I had my unit replaced in our Cannon Ridge home last summer. We were then told by the home warranty that climate king was going to charge us $2700 in modifications fees to replace/order our new unit. When the technicians arrived a couple weeks later, they refused to install the unit because we had not removed our attic stairs. At no point as the homeowners were we told that we were required to remove the attic stairs and door. I can assure you that we would have removed them that day!! The technicians told us that they would be back the next morning at 9:00 to install. They never showed up. When my husband called, they had us scheduled two more weeks out. The $2700 is in addition to the unit cost. I would definitely not use this company again. Save yourself some money and heartache and use someone else!!!!

    Our home warranty company sent Climate King out because we request to have our AC unit tuned up for the summer since they were offering a special. Never again will we use Climate King. It's called if you make a mistake fix it. The techs came out to do the work and they were in hurry up and finish mode. I specifically asked them to make sure the freon was good and the tech told me he checked it and it was good. 4 hrs later my wife called me at work to tell me the AC lines were frozen. The next morning I called CK and explained to the dispatcher the situation and she refused to send the tech back out. She told us to call our home warranty company. That means we would pay a deductible to have them come out again. I would be dammed if CK got another penny from us but we did call the home warranty company and specifically told not to send CK back and they sent out another company which found that when CK tech checked the freon the valve stuck which caused the freon to be to low. He recharged the system, the problem was solved. When you can't admit to your own mistakes that's bad business and will never get another penny of my money. I know I'm only one customer but whoever reads this you have been put on notice.

    The technicians that were sent out Walker and Evan were awesome. They were very professional and knowledgeable. The issue was resolved within 10 minutes. This is the third time we’ve used Climate King through our home warranty company.

    Had a tech come out to look at my unit on this past Monday in Ridgeland, Ms. He left because he didn't have the proper tools to finish. He returned and fixed it by overcharging for a part that he realized later he didn't put on my unit. Before payment, he did take that charge off. It took me 4 days to even get a receipt in which I called the Ridgeland office twice... days apart. My unit was working but however, still making a horrible noise. 6 days later... the unit went out again! I called the office on Saturday @1015a and I was told a tech would come out to review and he will call when he was 30 mins away. I canceled my plans for the day & stayed in with my family awaiting service. Hours went by and NO TECH! I called the office back @430p and they were closed. So I called the emergency after hours #. By that time the temp in my house was 87 degrees! The person from the hotline said that a service order was not EVEN put in for the day for my address and she would contact a service tech asap. I never received a call from the tech nor the emergency hotline again. This is 3 days post...UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

    Two stars instead of one because their tech came out ahead of schedule, and on a Saturday no less! Unfortunately, it all went downhill from there. The tech said there was a bad valve in the compressor, and that he would have to replace it on Monday. Monday came and went, and no tech. I called on Tuesday morning and the receptionist told me that the tech couldn’t come out that day, leaving us in a 90 degree house. Also, the tech quoted me $75 a pound for 11 pounds of Freon. Two problems with that: 1) my unit only holds eight pounds (it says so on the sticker on the compressor), and 2) $75 a pound for Freon is highway robbery.
    I only attempted to use this company because that’s who my home warranty company sent. I called another company and paid less out of pocket than I would have paid Climate King with my warranty. BTW, nothing was wrong with any of the valves, and I only needed six pounds of Freon.
