    We have been in our home for a little over a year and thought it best to have our furnace serviced especially since we don't have a detailed history of service. Frankie D showed up 5 minutes early for our appointment which was fantastic. Frankie was quick, clean and gave me a once over on the age and condition of our furnace. We talked about when the next service would be due. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I am thankful that we now have our go to company for anything furnace related.

    Thank you for the exceptional installation of our new air conditioning system. Your crew came on time, as scheduled. They were very neat and careful removing the old system and installing the new one.

    Frank did a great job beforehand talking about the choices and listening to what we wanted, and gave us the right advice about what to choose (which was not what I had originally thought we wanted).

    The first season was flawless, and I have to add that we were shocked by how much less electricity the new system uses than our mid-1990s central system used.

    These guys are great! My gas heating system was acting up. They offered to come same day but I couldn't leave work so they came 9 am the next day. Both guys were great (super personable) and explained everything to me including giving me analogies to help me understand the problem. They located a new part and installed within 3 hours. I will use them again for our condo and house.

    I've worked with Genove in many capacities and locations... heating oil deliveries for my apartment in Brighton, A/C service for my home in Waltham, and most recently for A/C service for my whole condo building in West Roxbury. They've provided consistent service, communicate well, and the guys they send to do the work are incredibly professional and polite. Often times there's a disconnect between quality and customer service between the home office and the team that performs the work, but not with Genove. I'm a very harsh critic, and I can't recommend them enough. They recently bent their own rules and serviced our entire condo building despite it being the type of property they don't typically work with. They also made it easy for our whole building to be serviced on the same day (7 units), and worked with us on price. I have to stretch to find any constructive criticism, but the only thing they might be able to improve is their approach on the phone. It sounds like the person you talk to is very busy so you may find yourself speed talking. There's also a lot of background noise, so I picture the guy on the phone standing in front of the oil tankers as they're filling up their trucks. That said, they're patient and polite, but their phone location could probably be moved to a better place.

    Been using them for a few years. They've always been very responsive and professional. Jake G was very helpful and explained things clearly. Yearly maintenance contract isn't cheap, but don't know if cheaper elsewhere. It does bring the oil price down some to offset it.

    What a pleasure of a company to work with! I was having issues with my heat and hot water. Josh from Genove Oil and Air came to our house, explained everything he was doing step by step and pinpointed what was causing my problem(s). He was on time, efficient, clean, polite and extremely knowledgeable. I would hire these guys again without a second thought. Genove is a top notch company and i hope they know how fortunate they are to have a guy like Josh on their team. Thanks guys!

    I just bought a home in Norwood and had an older forced hot water gas boiler, that was fried by poor contractors. I had Genove come out and give me a quote on replacing the old boiler with a newer, more efficient one. I decided to hire them on a Wednesday and the boiler was replaced that Friday. Errol and Richard were early, polite, worked a long day until the job was complete. They were very meticulous, and cleaned up after themselves. The knowledge and professionalism Of all the employees I dealt with, from the office staff, to the service technicians was amazing. I would highly recommend their service.

    The short: VERY disappointed in this company and DO NOT recommend. They let our oil run out despite the fact we were on an autofill program and the fact that we called multiple times to let them know our tank was running on empty.
    The long: Despite being on autofill for our oil, we noticed the tank was empty. Called on a Tues for a fill and were told to wait until Thurs/Fri. Called back Thurs (worried about a snowstorm on Fri). They said all set for Fri delivery. No one came Fri so we called back. We were told we were bumped to Sat because of the snowstorm. We asked why we were not prioritized since we had called about being on empty; that was a question they could not answer. During that call they said the last delivery was shorted which caused their autofill process to breakdown. Lastly, instead of sending someone out that Fri afternoon, they said to wait one more day and to call for an emergency fill if the system shut off. I bet you can guess what happened, we ran out of oil around midnight (below freezing temps outside and lots of snow on the ground). We had to get up from bed and stay up to wait for the emergency service. That emergency fill is just small amount of oil so, now I’m here at about 10AM on Saturday STILL waiting for my tank to be filled. Their autofill process broke down which, in my opinion, could be excusable for a one-time error. However, what is infuriating and inexcusable is that they failed to react or do anything once we notified them of the issue. There is no reason we should have this issue when on an up-to-date autofill account.

    I've used Genove auto oil delivery for some time and never had a problem with them until I needed something more then just oil delivery! Boiler started leaking pretty badly and asked them to estimate and replace it. They were pretty quick to respond and provide an estimate but said I'd need to wait about a month for the replacement. That threw me off.. they did acknowledge that boiler will probably not survive that long, but nothing they could since they were busy at the time. It also doesn't help being on a service plan - just a marketing trick to get you in for oil delivery. So that was it.. had to switch to another company.

    In a nutshell good company for oil delivery, but if you think you'd need some maintenance and possible repairs in the future I'd go to a company that can actually provide that.

    UPDATE: Changing review to be a 3 star review since they called me up and apologized for not being able to help out in this case. Maybe timing was tough as they said they had a big queue of people needed some kind of maintenance.
