I HIGHLY recommend Balanced HVAC. This week I got a new furnace and CAC installed. It has been a very smooth and straight forward process along the way. From the first "inspection" by Lincoln, the scheduling with Taylor, installation on the day by Matt and Matthew, the electrical wiring by Eric and his crew, and the venting by Mastertech. Everything was very well organized, professional, and on-time. All the steps during the process have been explained to me and I was always aware of what is happening. I am very pleased. Thank you so much for your work done this week. You Rock!!

I can't say enough good things about this company! When we bought our home we knew one system wasn't working and the other would need to be replaced soon. When Balanced HVAC came and gave us an estimate they also got our heat working so we wouldn't go without while moving in. Everyone from the owner, the office staff, and the technicians were kind, courteous, professional and sooo reasonable. We replaced one heater and ac unit and will be having them back to do the other one. They are all around Amazing!

They charged me $400 to service my furnace and A/C and told me everything was in working order. A month later when I turned on the A/C, the compressor did not work. I called them to ask them to come back and repair it, and asked that they not charge me again for travel time (although I said I would pay for parts and labor) because when they had previously "serviced" it, it was supposedly in working order. "Sorry," said the woman I spoke with, "Other companies may do that, but that's not how we do business."

In other words, this company will charge you once to come out and NOT fix your air conditioner, and then they will charge you a SECOND TIME to come back and do it again. What a ripoff!

Notice that the owner replied ONLY when he saw I posted a review on Google. He did not respond to me at 9am this morning when (at his office's suggestion) I emailed him, and his office did not respond to me later in the day despite promising they would call.

Notice also how he lies in his response by claiming that I "aggressively stated I am not paying for a return visit." I am pasting my email to him below, and you can decide for yourself.

What this company can't do is provide decent customer service. All it can do is perform incompetent work, and then blame and attack its customers after not responding to them directly.

Hi Lincoln. We’re new customers and you serviced our heater and A/C in May (invoice attached). This weekend I turned on the A/C upstairs for the first time, and though it’s blowing, the air is not cool. I would have thought when the service technicians were out here in May and said the A/C was in working condition, it would work when I used it for the first time. I’m happy to pay the labor and parts to repair it (I spoke with Taylor and she said she hoped to get someone here today), but I don’t think it’s fair to charge me for travel time again since it appears the techs missed whatever was wrong with the upstairs A/C when they were here in May. I appreciate your review of the situation, and your attention to customer service.

Update, August 14, 2021: Horrors! The a/c system in our guest house quit last night. We're fully booked and it's Road Race Weekend with a heat wave. Can it get any worse than that? We placed an emergency call to Balanced HVAC, and had a response call from Brody within 15 minutes. 90 minutes later, there he was, on a Saturday morning, ready to help us out. Within minutes he had the problem diagnosed and a further 20 minutes later everything was operating properly again. Happy guests. Happy Innkeepers. Than you, Brody, thank you, Balanced HVAC!

Their service is excellent! My furnace died on a winter evening and they came after working hours promptly. When they realized the unit needed to be replaced and couldn't be repaired they installed temporary heating to keep us warm and had a new furnace up and running in less than 2 days! Very responsive and friendly service.

Balanced HVAC installed a three zone ductless system in my house. Lincoln and his team were professional, timely, and most importantly, knowledgeable about this relatively new product. Our mini splits have been in place for over a month and so far there have been zero issues, even through the hottest parts of the summer. I highly recommend this company for those looking for an honest, detail oriented HVAC tech on the Upper Cape!
