I have been using Boston Standard for quite some time and this past experience has been awful. Technician Nate F. came into my AC check and after he left my furnace would not turn on. After inspecting my exterior AC unit, he said that the furnace was not relaying a signal to the outside unit. This was causing the outside unit not to work. That didn’t really make sense to me but I trusted his expertise. After he left, my basement furnace did not work and my home wouldn’t heat. And they could not get a technician out to rectify the situation. I’m very displeased.

I got a high efficiency heating system installed. I am on a service plan. The company is very professional and competent, the service personal very courteous and knowledgeable. I give only four star because I had a no heat emergency in the dead of winter and the first available appointment they offered me was three days out.

Boston Standard installed Mitsubishi Ductless AC/ Heat Pumps in our home last year. The performance has been great, and I could not be more pleased with this investment. Our first follow up appointment for cleaning and maintinance was excellent too. Josh Cassidy was punctual, friendly and offered important advice about saving energy with our new system. His experience is substantial and he is truly enthusiastic about providing the best customer service. I interviewed two other companies before deciding on Boston Standard. I would reccommend them without hesitation and will be engaging them for yearly service.

Very quick to respond and get a member out to our location. Quickly figured out the issues and got us set up for a fix. Boston standard was the only positive in my experience dealing with a broken water heater.

After the first repair, the unit was still not working properly. Our technician, Nate, stayed another 90 minutes with technical support on the phone to double check everything. He did uncover another broken piece, briefed us on the repair needed, worked with Navien to get replacement parts (under warranty), and adjusted our estimate to reflect everything at the end of that visit.

Boston Standard then sent over another crew to finalize the repair once they got the part. Our water heater is back up and running!

All in all quality company and quality technicians. Helped educate us throughout the process.

I have Boston Standard come twice a year for maintenance and have always been happy with service. Yesterday I had the privilege of meeting Thomas Heck one of their techs. He is the only tech that has come out and investigated our lack of hot water. He was professional, thorough, and extremely nice. I would recommend him to anyone! Thank you Thomas!!!

Bill and Thomas did an excellent job fixing our heat, replacing 4 heating units and associated plumbing - they came when scheduled, were careful to keep things clean as they worked, and very pleasant to have around. Will definitely have Boston Standard back for maintenance and any other unforeseen heating and plumbing issues!

I’ve been a longstanding customer of Boston Standard and have always been impressed with the quality and professionalism of their services. Even with that, I had to write this review to rave about their HVAC technician Anthony Prosper who just finished up a thorough inspection of both my furnace and AC systems. He was fantastic to deal with - prompt to arrive, diligent in his attention to detail, and patient In explaining all of his findings to someone like me who’s not at all well-versed in all things HVAC. I was especially impressed to see that he took photos of each step of his inspection process so I could see exactly what he did - and also visually understand any of his findings which may require further work. This is a level of detail and proactive customer service which only underscores why I have been a loyal customer of Boston Standard all these years.
