James repaired my HVAC that had a broken motor. Was very helpful in explaining the issue at hand and the options I had to fix the parts. They were able to come the next day and replace the part. Very good service and very professional. Would definitely recommend for any sort of services they provide.

Good company and very responsive! The technicians (Kai and Thomas Marcus) were great! They were professional, knowledgeable, and provided clarity on what was a very complicated issue. They were helpful in explaining all of my potential options and even provided quotes for each option which made things much easier. The costs were a bit above my range but reasonable and what could be expected for such quality service. I would definitely use them again!

Boston Standard installed a system of mini-split ductless heat pumps in my old two family home. Each person in this process - the initial meeting and estimate, the application for a loan from Mass Save, the installation and follow up - was a helpful and knowledgeable professional. I had complete confidence in each member of the team and each did a great job, answering my many, many questions and taking the time needed to make sure everything was in order and that I understood it all.

Communication with the office and technicians was always prompt and helpful and the office was always available to discuss my questions. Technicians arrived when scheduled and someone contacted me if there were any delays. I have no concerns about what the future will hold in terms of service if it is needed.

I am very happy with my new system and am happy to recommend Boston Standard with confidence.

A few weeks ago, I had reached out to Boston Standard to fix leaking around out heating unit. The technician spent hours trying to fix the problem . He discovered that the gasket’s were rusted. He was honest and said I could wait to see if the leaking stops after he cleaned the inside of the system. I have 2 different units and one was worse than another. I decided to replace them and thankfully I took the technician’s advice to have them replaced
He doubled check that my systems were working properly before leaving.
I appreciated his sense of detail and determination to fix the problem.

I would love to speak highly of Kai Wilkinson, who conducted the inspection of my plumber system at home. In addition to his great skills and over 15 years experiences, I wanted to highlight his amazing communication skills and patience. He explained very well on my questions and helped me better understand my system. For example, he well explained to me the different functions and pipe line under my kitchen sink and gave me a heads up about how to maintain well on the sink system as well as how to fix the sink issue by looking for a granite company. If I were his boss, I will give him a promotion or about 15% salary increase this year to retain this talent and recognize his well-versed skills in plumbing and fantastic communication skills as a person. I would also highly recommend Kai no matter where he works in the future.

I called them to get pipes tested in order to get my gas turned on. They quoted $1300. I recieved another quote from a different company $450 and ultimately got the job done for $350. There are ridiculously expensive.
owner responded there may have been some confusion. I called back as requested and got clarification that in fact my quote was $1800 and $700. In addition they later sent me a bill for a canceled appointment to look at my AC that they installed for $14000 that has never worked since the day they did it.. They should be offering to rectify the problem not charge me more. The receptionist was VERY condescending. This is not a good company.

When we were looking to get mini-splits installed, we got quotes from four different companies. Leo and the team at Boston Standard were the only ones who pointed out specific challenges for our older home that the others ignored or didn't catch, and came up with solutions so that we could make the best use of our system.

They were mindful about our future projects for our house when designing the layout and placements, and answered every question we had about choosing the right brands and maintenance/upkeep.

The crew that came to do the actual installation were very punctual and made sure we understood where they were in the process and that we were informed about every part of the installation.

We just moved into the Boston area, and the former owners recommended Boston Standard - they've been wonderful! Our technician Joshua Cassidy is amazing - professional, knowledgable, helpful and patient with our questions. We're confident in his recommendations and evaluations, and he's refreshingly honest and upfront about costs/suggestions. Their maintenence plan isn't the cheapest, but it is more about peace of mind should something happen - and it already has a few times. Every time they've been extremely quick with same-day repairs and techs to the house. Highly recommend!

Great crew. With better scheduling (if that’s even possible with the different specialists) they might have been in and out in less days, but overall they finished the job in the time they proposed. So far we’re happy with the results of their hard work.

Everyone I dealt with at New England Ductless were excellent. Everyone from Nolan who was our original contact and estimator to Giovanni who helped manage the rebates and billing to Samy the master installer and Pedro his apprentice who did an unbelievable installing the systems and did a better job than I could have ever expected. Bravo!
