The gentlemen who replaced our water heater tank were fantastic. We did not get their names, but they were professional, respectful and did the work in a reasonable amount of time. I would highly recommend Gervais Mechanical to my family and friends. We are happy with the tank that was recommended, it has made a big difference in water pressure and temperature.

Ben was amazing! Incredibly helpful, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Identified the issue and was able to fix it properly and within appropriate timeline. I would highly recommend Ben for future work. The only issue came from the business side of communication of project and cost.

Called Gervais as a couple of my mini-splits weren't functioning properly and scheduled a mechanic to come out in an attempt to just get an estimate on what it might cost to repair. After checking them out on the Better Business Bureau website and seeing complaints, I confirmed with TWO different receptionists that I would be charged NOTHING outside of the $99 dispatch fee to have a mechanic come out and diagnose the issue - I'd only pay if service was agreed to. The next day once the mechanic arrived, he said it would cost me $379 just to diagnose what the issue might be, on TOP of the $99 dispatch fee just to get him in my driveway.

I shared that two receptionists told me I wouldn't be charged that day outside of the dispatch fee and the mechanic shared that this "confusion" has come up in the past multiple times - and that he AGREED it felt like a bait and switch. He let me know I should've asked Gervais' pricing model and whether it was a flat rate or hourly, so I guess I didn't ask the two receptionists the "magic question". $379 just to diagnose an issue was ridiculous so I told the mechanic he could go and that I'd call the office.
After calling the office and speaking to one of the same receptionists to express my frustration, all I got was an "apology if there was any confusion". Looks like I just gave away $99.

Super disappointed because of all the great reviews - definitely don't recommend this business.

Excellent experience - they were all so knowledgeable and professional. Some issues with customer service from the home office, but the plumbers/electricians/contractors more than made up for that. We will definitely use Gervais again!

Chris was not only on time but called ahead to ask if he could arrive early. He showed up exactly when he said he would. He was professional, polite, efficient, and patient with all my questions. I appreciated the fact he gave us repair options and explained the differences between the types of repairs. He completed the work in a timely manner and cleaned up all of his tools etc. I would definitely utilize his services for future projects/ repairs!

The tech was on time, personable, and professional. We were switching from digital to smart thermostats and missing the common wire. He was able to quickly diagnose the issue and find a solution. Would recommend the company based on this technician.

Was in a bind with an inherited AC issue and the team was extremely responsive, honest, and fair. Discovered the problem and offered several options for resolving. Now, should be back up and running by next week. Really impressed with the customer service!

In this period/season of long waiting lists, we were able to set up a service appointment with Gervais within a week or so, and their team was attentive, explained things well, and very professional. We were very satisfied with their service.
