Elmar Heating & Cooling

So glad I went with Elmar for my mini splits. They were professional and super competent given some intricacies posed by the job. And they left the place spotless after each day of work. Can't recommend them enough.

Had our old AC unit replaced. Very efficient techs. They also did the work in a timely manner.
Cleaned up after finishing the job.
The pricing was competitive for a top of the line Bosch Bova 2. Very pleased with the cooling and so quiet! Hope the heat pump works as well in the winter, it hasn't been tested yet.

Just got the heat pump up and running for the winter. Works beautifully and is practically silent! Not sure what the heating bill is going to be but comfort level is great.

The Elmar tech (Dennis) was very pleasant and professional. He identified the problem with our furnace and ordered the part needed to fix it. He returned two days later to install and all was well. Good experience.

Don't use their financing company WISETACK. They are crooks. Gave me one interest rate but when I accepted the loan the interest rate doubled and they started applying interest before my first payment. I regret this. Don't make the same mistake.

Elmar was recommended to us by a very meticulous neighbor. We got another estimate by a company we regard highly for the same job that came in several thousand dollars above what Elmar quoted to us. Elmar was prompt and professional and the job was done within three days. We had the job financed and there was a small disconnect between Synchrony (the finance company) and Elmar in terms of what we owed to Elmar out of pocket. It was remedied quickly. If you go this route, please save all correspondence especially the amount that Synchrony is willing to finance. We do recommend Elmar and have recommended them since our install to a friend having tankless hot water installed.

Elmar came prompltly, and repaired the issue we were having. The service technician was professional and respectful.

Great service and highly recommend. Elmar Services confirms appointments with a text when you make one, then sent one when they were on the way. Once here, Brian was professional, quick and explained everything as he went.

I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again for any home mechanical need.

I didn’t get the opportunity to use Elmar directly, however, my brother did. I felt like I wanted to leave this review solely because of the kindness, patience and responsiveness from the two people in the office he dealt with. My brother has struggled with a stuttering problem his whole life and often has anxiety about calling businesses for any reason. I usually do it on his behalf. I called the first time and was greeted by a female who was more than happy to speak with me. Her tone and willingness to help was more than refreshing. I got transferred to a man who was very well informed and answered my questions thoroughly. Due to some unexpected financial mishaps, I haven’t had the chance to get the estimate I was thinking about for AC, but this will be my first call I make as soon as I’m ready. They’ll also be who I recommend to anyone who needs help with AC or heating issues. If every business had someone as friendly as the lady I spoke to from Elmar (Cameron?) and as knowledgeable as the gentleman that helped answer my questions, (Alex or Adam) then they would be a lot better off. Thank you to those two who were so kind!! Friendliness goes along way and it costs nothing :)

Our boiler wasn’t turning on so we tried to book service with one of the big name local companies who advertise on tv/radio. They had a 3 week wait, or a week for emergency service which is awful in the winter. Found Elmar instead and was absolutely thrilled with their service, from initial phone call to project completion. The person who took my initial call tried to trouble-shoot the problem remotely before sending anyone out, something the big brands would never do. You can’t bill a customer if you don’t send anyone out…

Brian was sent out to us the next day to diagnose the issues. He was extremely courteous and polite. He was masked up in our house without us asking, and walked us through how he determined the issue. He took the time to educate us on our boiler and common maintenance and potential issues we could address should the need arise. Unfortunately, we had to replace a part. Elmar delivered the quote the next day electronically, and they were able to purchase, acquire and install the part within 3 days total from initial dispatch. Throughout the entire process they texted and communicated schedules, including when the service tech was dispatched/arriving.

Brian came back out (big plus that it’s the same person making the diagnosis and then doing the repair) and had the heat running in no time. Once again he made sure we were comfortable understanding what was fixed. Workspace was left clean and tidy.

5/5, will gladly use Elmar moving forward for all HVAC needs, and definitely going to be asking for Brian!
