Brian & Dennis went above and beyond to satisfy my requests and patiently answer my numerous lay questions. We had a big job! Removal of an old oil burner, installation of a ductless unit in the basement and heat pump for upstairs along with installation of a hot water heater. To top it off, this was an attic job with minimal wiggle room! This company was top notch from the beginning! We received a quick response from our initial quote request. They show up when they say they will! They communicate what they think you need and then list everything out on your estimate. From the beginning, Drew’s knowledge helped to shape the work we needed to be more efficient and upgrade our home. There are no hidden or unknown things. The installation crew that did our work was stellar! Shav, Alex, and Vlat were awesome! They work so well and efficient! They communicate with one another and get the job done, no downtime. They are very knowledgeable and treated our home like their own! They use drop clothes and each day they cleaned everything up vacuuming and all! They even wear shoe covers! These guys have a passion for their work and it shows! We are so impressed with this experience and so happy we chose Elmar for our HVAC work!

The first technician they sent us over the weekend did not explain well what was the issue and said the part needed to be quoted on Monday . We paid him for diagnostic and labor which did not fix the issue -
To the rescue was a nice guy that came Monday that has the part (dumper) and installed it . For this I can still recommend the company to anyone .We did not appreciate the lack of explanation from the first guy though.

Outstanding customer service. The workers are professional and know their stuff. We had a Navien heating system installed and switched from oil to propane for fuel. Elmar did an outstanding job explaining each of the steps involved in switching over. They were timely, considerate and conscientious in their installation.

Where they really showed their distinction though, was in their post-installation service to make sure we were happy. There was a problem that turned out to be in a separate valve for the plumbing. It kept causing a low pressure condition that shut the system down. Elmar sent a technician out (quite a distance from their home office) multiple times to troubleshoot and finally fix the issue. The system has worked wonderfully since.

Special kudos to Oleg, the service technician, and Buddy, the customer service contact, for their friendliness and professionalism in handling our installation.

I paid $99 for a diagnosis of an issue with no heat in a zone. They quoted me $520 to replace the zone valve, but I didn’t agree with the assessment. In my testing the valve appeared to be opening. I did some research of my own and learned that low pressure can cause issues with water circulating to higher floors. I checked the boiler and the pressure was way too low. This is a really basic thing the tech should have checked first. It took me 5 minutes to add water to the system and restore heat to the second floor. They also did not do the maintenance I had requested, during which the pressure also would have been checked. (They also did not charge for the maintenance)

Worked with multiple employees over the course of the job, and every one was professional and helpful. They did a total replacement of my dinosaur A/C. When they couldn't finish the job on time because of unexpected complications with electric, they worked extra hard to get it done for me. I would recommend them to anyone.

Elmar Services is an outstanding company to work with!

We engaged Elmar Services to solve an existing heating problem with the heat distribution in our home. They were very thoughtful in evaluating the problem and then provided us with options to consider. The work was completed as scheduled, the staff was very respectful of being in our home during a pandemic, and couldn't have been more helpful! At our request, they returned right away to "tweak" the system once the weather turned cold and we could assess the results. From beginning to end of the process, the service was above and beyond our expectations. Thank you Elmar.

Elmar Service Work started March 4, 2019 and finished 3 days later.

Scope of Work: installed a split-mini A/C system with 3 units so that my whole house will be cooler in the summer

I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company for the following reasons: (not listed in order of importance)
1 Professionalism: the workers and salesman know their business and take the time to answer your questions.
2 Interpersonal communication between myself and different employees was clear, polite, and USEFUL. ALL employees share information about the installation and maintenance of the units.
3 Affordability: I contacted 5 companies for estimates and this company was not only the cheapest, but also the best = a hard combination to find.
4 AND THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS COMPANY is that their proposal is detailed. IF a home owner has a concern about a particular installation OR knows something about the house that the homeowner wants noted in the estimate, just speak up when the estimate is being typed. The estimate is typed at the end of the initial contact and emailed to the customers. My house is 90+ years old and there are always issues.
5 When I asked that some of the piping be changed, because I understood that something different was going to be done, the change was done without a fuss.

Oh, and another thing – Elmar Services only installs Mitsubishi equipment (incidentally - Mitsubishi is the HIGHEST RATED equipment on the market in terms of energy efficiency and low maintenance) AND Elmar installs so many units, Mitsubishi has extended their normal warrantee for equipment installed by Elmar Services.
