Dale is the most skilled and experienced hvac expert we have experienced in the 8 years we have worked with John C. Flood, as well as in earlier places we lived. He is efficient and effective, while also being interested in our concerns and with suggestions for us to think about in the future. He always knows what is wrong and fixes it or recommends others outside of his firld.

Thank you, Dale Gunn with John C. Flood for taking the time to explain what was wrong with my AC unit. I also appreciated the courtesy of the staff when scheduling the appointment and in contacting me (3 different ways!) to let me know when Dale was on his way. Great same day service!

Excellent plumber who came within an hour of my call on Capitol Hill. He was very pleasant and professional but (good gawd!) the service doesn't come cheap.
$1021.00 for 2hrs to replace a kitchen faucet and valves.

John C. Flood has serviced my heatpump since installed in 2008. The techs have always demonstrated courtesy and professionalism. Mr. Michael Pavone was outstanding on 1/25/17. He made me feel valued, a trait that many companies lack today.

Responsive to my call for service to my a/c .
Arrived on time and fixed the problem quickly. The serviceman was friendly and explained the problem and made the repair. I have had a service contract with this company for many years and very happy with them.

I would like to give HVAC Technician Dale Gunn the highest possible rating available. Dale came out and expertly looked over our unit to ensure any issues which may cause us headaches in the coming summer season has been eliminated. He previously assisted us with repairs from the nightmare experiences of several area HVAC companies who could not seem to get our system 100 percent operational. It was always the guessing game, costing us a lot of WASTED money. Long story short John Flood company (Dale Gunn) has done what Michael and sons, Magnolia, AJ Mechanical services (James Richardson) has NOT been able to do (the others played guessing games all along). Dale shows not just knowledge/expertise to perform any task at hand but he also ensure me as the client understand in layman's terms what is taking place. While previously if a technician comes in and start performing explained operations I would get very nervous, with Dale I trust him even if he dismantled the system entirely. I trust, completely confidence that he will make the system run as never was dissembled. HVAC companies need more technicians like Dale who not only know what they are doing (and HONESTLY respect their own limitations/inabilities) but also develop great customer relations.

Our technician called ahead, arrived on time and was very friendly and professional. He explained the issue with our A/C, explained our options and performed the necessary service quickly and efficiently. I cannot recommend them enough!

At least leave me a written explanation of what is wrong with the unit. Today my air conditioning unit's compressor, blade, blah,blah,blah look bad and needs a replacement of which a quote was given $8000. The man you sent charged me $100 for a service call to which your online quote was misleading. Okay but hey, I expected a receipt and at least a change $1 for my $100 bill. Our serviceman was amazing. He was patient and honest and told me about what needed to be done before he started the work. Just straight up about the issue and quickly fixed what needed to be fixed. A very good experience.
