When I called I expected to have to wait a week or so to get an appointment. But they scheduled me for the next day. Unfortunately the tech was overbooked. But the scheduler called as soon as it was apparent he wouldn't make it and scheduled me for first thing the next morning, which was a Saturday.

The tech showed up on time, was very friendly, helpful, and professional. He resolved several issues and answered all my questions. He worked quickly and did an excellent job.

The service was a bit more expensive than I expected. But for excellent service and communication it was worth it. I will definitely call them again next time I need a plumber.

John C Flood was very responsive. Just moved into a house in DC, early July heat and humidity, and AC was not working.... A service appointment was made for that day, and our serviceman was excellent. Dale spent time educating me on the system, what was wrong, and what would work best going forward. Most importantly, the experience was a responsive, friendly, and human one. Highly recommend you use them!

As promised, I received a courtesy phone call to let me know the technician was on his way, which gave me plenty of time to get home to meet them. The technician was very courtesy and professional and had my plumbing issue resolved a lot sooner than I was expecting.

I was also impressed by how tech-enabled they were. I was able to pay and get my invoice emailed to me before they left, which being paper-free is good for the environment.

Great customer service, repairs are reasonable. Annual memberships do help save a bit of money. I really like that they do all 3 types of work (HVAC, heating and plumbing).

Our 20 year old water heater finally died and Jake came out that day to give us an estimate. The next day, Jason came by and had a new water heater in place in a couple of hours. Great service!

Eric did outstanding work. He quickly diagnosed the problem. He explained what he was going to do. He showed me the bits that weren't working and told me how he would adjust them. He completed the work professionally and efficiently, in under an hour. Total cost was much less than I'd anticipated.

I've used John C. Flood before and I'll use them again. They are, in my opinion, the best plumbers in the DC area.

They do great work. I was very please with both Service on the phone with Pat and Eric who fixed our shower and gave some good advice to explore for more improvement to our house. I will keep using them due to the quality of work and the time it takes a great.

We have used John C. Flood for our plumbing needs decades and have always been happy with their service and responsiveness. In this case Eric McCathran provided excellent, quick and courteous service in replacing our water heater's pressure-relief valve and pressure tank.

Business must be good for John C flood because they don’t even show up for appointments. I thought my appointment was scheduled from eight in the morning till noon; however, I was corrected and told that it was from 10 AM to 2 PM. Yet, no one ever showed up and no one ever called to tell me they were going to be late or on their way. It’s really getting hard to fine good work these days.

I used John C. Flood for the 3rd time in less than a year (HAVC and plumbing), and each time received excellent service. Technician(s) arrived during the stated timeframe and all work was completed with a high standard of quality and (and) they were careful with/within my home. When my air conditioning stop at about 2:00AM on a "Saturday" morning in August 2016...John C. Flood was the only local company that could provide a response (on-site) in under 24-hours! Great expert and timely service.
